AMAZING Stay at the Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge in ALASKA!

- We had the pleasure of staying at the Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge in Cooper Landing, Alaska this weekend! This is a lodge we've wanted to visit for several years, and it was SO worth the wait! The rooms were large and comfortable and the setting was stunning.
We also took time to explore the town of Cooper Landing where we had some GREAT food, visited a museum, and checked out the Kenai River.
Less than 2 hours from Anchorage, this lodge was the perfect quick getaway for us.

I’m definitely with Sherri that the ferns give fairy vibes. Sasquatch would have squashed them in minutes. Please, please go back there in fall , would love to see the trees and you guys with a fire in the room. Loving seeing your weekend getaways ❤

Will be staying at the Kenai Princess in August for 2 nights. Taking an 8 hour Kenai Fjords excursion. Can’t wait. Wish we could get to Two Brothers!!

I love those close to home but far enough away weekend getaways. It looks like a beautiful place to rest and unwind.
It's so nice having so many getaway options within a short drive. We've loved being able to take advantage of them this summer!

When I used to make rice Krispy treats for a bake sale, I would add about .25 cup extra marshmallows and a extra tablespoon of butter or margarine. I got so many comments on how good they were. I always sold out, lol.

So beautiful, I want to go! Just the kind of museum I adore, as well. My fave so far is tucked away in Hot Springs SD, but this looks amazing. I love out of the way museums, where all the things are slightly jumbled up and out to see. They trust you not to touch it all, and you can get up super close to imagine the past. Transporting.
PS we have a very similar cat! Ours is black & white & named Panda, but she’s the exact same total look & size. Panda is almost 13, & became a lap cat this last yr when her brother went missing :(…. Still feeling the tragedy. But Panda is ok, hanging in there,with lots of lap time. Got from you the idea of the big feeder some vids back. We had been using small slow feeders due to Sparky, Panda’s brother, but she doesn’t need those, so this is much easier. Thx!

I finally have 3 gorgeous girl winter white hamsters - one normal called abi and two pearls called Minnie and Daisy - the two pearls are like twins and addicted to each other. They are pure ones and not like the ones at the pet shops. Probably some of the best ones I have had. They are like mini tiny bears.

Dirty skillet has a better salmon dip. However, the clam toast was as good as anything we’ve had!
