I love the Nightmare at 20,000 ft! I remember analyzing that episode in film class and how it symbolizes the theme of PSTD for vets, especially those who served in Vietnam, who would see things (flashbacks, delusions, etc) that weren’t real but were very real to them. Great video!!!
Thanks, man! I love that episode, too. I love the gremlin, lol. It’s crazy to think about what those poor souls go through that suffer from things like that. 😢 I hope you have a Happy New Year, my friend!
THE TWILIGHT ZONE IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE GREATEST SHOWS OF ALL TIME AND I LOVE ALL THE EPISODES BUT SOME OF MY FAVORITES ARE NICK OF TIME,THE NEW EXHIBIT,ITS A GOOD LIFE AND WILL THE REAL MARTIAN PLEASE STAND UP
This was such a fun watch! I've been keeping up with Fever Dreamland's series going over each Twilight Zone episode and this list was a great cherry on top for the end of 2021. I appreciate Twilight Zone so much because like you said, its got paranormal, psychological, slasher and all the rest. Nightmare at 20,000 Feet is definitely a favorite of mine too but I still need to watch several episodes. Looking forward to checking out The Invaders.
"The Monsters are Due on Maple Street" seems more thought-provoking than scary. Turns out we don't need a secret alien invasion to tell us that our prejudices make us our own worst enemy. We'd have probably known that for years, in fact.
The absolute man. Is #1 for me ❤‼️ Rod Sterling was a genius! And so underappreciated for his work... Many people have stolen/copied from him, whether they admit it or not...
It’s weird how you list it the six cents as an example of dead people we can have it and hurting living people. When it was clear in the movie that the kid was scared of these dead people just because they look scary. But those that people never post at the red to him. That’s the weird part how even though you clearly saw the movie or hopefully saw the movie that the fact that he said people didn’t do anything to harm people doesn’t stop them from being seen as a harm. There’s something scary about situations where despite the fact that the person is clearly not a harm they continue being portrayed as such. The ability to disconnects from reality and disregard the thing that you’re referring to the frame in a completely opposite way is not healthy. It’s not healthy to be able to watch scare people desperately axing for help and ski see them as hurting people. I mean it it is a Masi a very of the situation where you have some I scared and asking for help who is vilified and being treated like a threat by people who have no regard for the fact that that’s not true and actually seem to believe the crack that they’re saying. I want to be very creates out by people who could see a situation and portrayed is the exact opposite because I’ve never seen a bad situation where they warn people like that disconnected from reality encouraging the screwed up situation with their selective attention.
🤣😂🤣 That cracked me up! I actually did an entire video dedicated to Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, if you'd like to check out more gremlin gliding: ruclips.net/video/9CS7qVh8lwU/видео.htmlsi=UILmbZ4ELhN_DH_Y
I think I would have classed The Invaders horror subgenre as "Alien Invasion" because that's exactly what it was. And Come Wander With Me I think I would have classed as "Ghostly Romance" but other than that excellent picks for horror episodes! Even though Night Gallery was more known for horror, Twilight Zone really did deliver the spooky scary moments!
She was in Season 5, episode 17 called "Number 12 Looks Just Like You" about the future when at the age of 18 people could choose to look like a model but there was only a choice of 3 or 4 models for each men or women so many people looked alike. One 18 year old girl didn't want to change her natural looks to look like a beautiful model and look like everyone else.
Hey guys any updates on the kickstarter? Ano it says their will be an email asking what you want your pledge name to be on the videoes? I'm just concious of it cause I stupidly used my real full name to donate, which I don't want online. So worried incase I miss the email/ go travelling or something off grid.
Dude... don't try to pigeonhole the Zone. The Twilight Zone was inspiration for all scary movies... super natural, science fiction, slasher... whatever..
Glad to see "The New Exhibit" get some favorable attention. It's a very clever episode.
I like the one where the business man comes back from Africa and gets a phone call from an elephant and a lion
He gets a lot more than that from the lion😉
@@michaelblaine6494 I'm sorry. The lion is busy.
TZ is the best show of all time! It ages like a fine wine.
Hell yeah, it does! Thanks so much for watching 😊

I'm not real big on horror films but I love the Twilight Zone
One of my all time favourite shows.

It absolutely is. Those are some great episodes you listed, too! Happy New Years!
@@TalkHorror THANK YOU HAPPY NEW YEARS TO YOU TOO
@@TalkHorror I love "a thing about machines", "long live Walter Jamerson" and "to serve man".
I loved all the Burgess Meredith episodes.
❤️ Burgess Meredith. He’s so amazing.
He was one of the greatest character actors of all time.

Thank you so much, and I hope you’re having a great 2022. The Invaders is an absolute classic. Lmk what you think!
My favorite episode was ""And When the Sky Was Opened" with Rod Taylor.
That’s such an insanely horrifying episode. Could you imagine being in that scenario?
@@TalkHorror Definitely gave me chills!
The episode with Mr. Beavis says the name like fifty times as well 😂
(Death's Head Revisited)
My absolute favorite episode.
Hi the Simpsons ,have used the Twilight Zone in countless episodes and ,you can tell what ones they have used in each one ,
Great TZ vid. Really well done. TY

Hi loved the New Exhibit ,was one of the best ever ,watch the show reruns all the time ,thanks for sharing ,
I like the one where everyone is different but the main character's the same.
I love them all especially the old old old old old😮😮😮..
Props for labelling Come Wander With Me "backwoods horror". At last I have a genre name for Deliverance.
The Howling Man was truly scary.
Ab-so-freakin-lutely. It's like: What would you do in that situation? 😱
The absolute man. Is #1 for me ❤‼️ Rod Sterling was a genius! And so underappreciated for his work... Many people have stolen/copied from him, whether they admit it or not...
I can't argue with your selections. I would've picked a few different ones, but there's no arguing about your picks.

The writers of the twilight zone were really ahead of their time, they came up with all these far out concepts
Absolutely! Film and television owes so much to these people.
Just imagine if any of those episodes wound up on another show like Thriller, Night Gallery or even the near forgotten WAY OUT.
The Jungle with John Dehner!!
10:22 gremlin glided with grace

What about " TO SERVE MAN"??
Absolutely wonderful episode.
Love Classic Old School Zone but man that 1980's Them Just Captures the True SPOOKY of the Show!
Believe it or not, I haven’t really seen any of the 80s episodes. Any suggestions on which episodes I should check out?
@@TalkHorror from the 80s series I really like Button Button and Examination Day.
