Stayed at Port Orleans the last week of February in 2020 just before it shut down. REALLY liked that place!
One of the top places period, both price and accommodations. Always should be a choice when available when you go

I love your resort tours, but this one brought back so many memories for me. My parents LOVE this hotel and we stayed here every family trip we took. Its a little out of my price range nowadays, but this resort always will feel like my Disney home (even with all its renovations and updates)

Favorite resort on property, always hang out there in the before times to chill. Artist Point Storybook Dining is "simply the best" can't wait for it to come back.

I love that Wilderness Lodge has their own special character/mascot - Humphrey the Bear. Poly seems to have Stitch and Olu as mascots. I think each deluxe resort should have a mascot unique to the resort. Gelatoni should be the mascot for the Riviera.
GF has theming around Alice in wonderland, Mary poppins and Belle/beast

Wilderness is hands down my favorite resort. Port Orleans is a close second, but I just love the theming and style of Wilderness Lodge. And the transportation is decent, especially to the MK.

This hotel is so beautiful!! Hope to stay there one day. The only thing that always gave me doubts about staying there before is the location really. It’s so far from everything.

I remember staying in cabins on Disney property in 1999 when I was 5 with my family. They had free range peacocks, and the peacocks lived under our cabin's porch or something because every morning at like 4 AM they would all screech like roosters on our cabin's steps. I remember my dad going outside and throwing his sandals at them because they were fearless when they came to people. It's literally the only thing I remember about that trip

I feel that the Bison Burger is the best burger on Disney property. They used to sell it at the roaring fork but it was moved outside to Guiser Point for some reason.
We stayed there while the Wilderness Lodge side was closed. It was so peaceful. We were still there when they opened up the Wilderness Lodge side and it was slightly chaotic.
We will stay again, especially since it's our home resort. But our next trip will be at OKW or SSR since we want to do another 2-week stay.
for the price, I rater stay at Pop Century or All Star Movies, I don't see the high rate value there, you look cute with the cowboy Hat by the way , enjoy your stay !

I realize it might be too similar to do soon but would appreciate a video of the Cabins at Fort Wilderness campgrounds to compare their rooms and amenities versus a traditional hotel.
Only similar in terms of name, everything else about FW is different from WL.
Are all of these amenities available to those staying at the campground as well? Also, are the activities in Reunion Station included in your stay?

For anyone curious what the little houses look like inside, TheTimTracker did a review of one last year and was showing the view of the river (which Quincy was talking about while taking a walk, but it wasn't really visible).
Love it! But she forgot to try out that cool light at night. (I really wanted to see that. lol)
You performed my trick: eating the Bison Burger upside down. You want that Marionberry sauce to hit your tongue, and turning the burger upside down to eat it accomplishes that. It's a great burger, but I had heard that Disney changed the recipe. If so, I'm glad they came to their senses and restored this fantastic menu item.
I thought all of the Wilderness Lodge rooms were renovated since the reopening. Is that not correct?? Thanks!
Odd question but do they replenish the coffee pods everyday when they service the room? COVID has me wondering these things since most hotels don’t offer everyday service.

For us, we came from the UK and stayed two weeks and booking was only 60 days, plus 10 days ahead, not length of our entire stay. Just an FYI.
Not sure if you guys were planning on visiting Animal Kingdom Lodge but a revisit tour of that resort would be awesome!

Please do ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE full resort tour as soon as possible…like before December!!! I love your tours they are full of detail but not boring Bc you make them so fun!
If I can afford it, this would be my first choice for lodging at Walt Disney World because of the beautiful architecture (or Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge because of the animals outside your room).

Quincy, I don't think you need any more caffeine. You were talking so fast I could only understand half of what you said. Every word ran together with the next. I guess we listen more slowly in Texas. The mask didn't help. Must've recorded this video a few weeks ago before the mask rules relaxed? We stayed there in 2006 and have reservations for the last week of October this year. Lots of new things/areas. Geiser Point wasn't there in 2006. Looking forward to our first vacation since going there to attend MNSSHP in October of 2019. Generally, we stay at Port Orleans Riverside, but it's still closed. Thanks for the tour.
