Thanks I did not where too start and this helped I had too remove all 5 mounting nuts and bolts and drop the hydro and slide it too the side because the top pulley nut was so tight . I bought a 15/16 " wrench from AutoZone too hold the shaft and then used my impact too get the nut off . THANKS AGAIN

First, thank you for the video. I think it is what I needed but I do have a question. I have a 2016 Hustler raptor sd 60" and in the process of replacing a damaged hydro fan on the Right side of the machine. Looking at the hydro pump mounting plate bracket in your video, it appears to be the thicker heavy metal bracket that hustler started using to better support the hydro pump(s) after many failures of the thinner metal type. From what I can see in your video, your bottom mounting bracket appears to be the same or very similar to what came original on my hustler and that is still in good condition. You mention to (1) REMOVE the two vertical bolts that hold the hydro pump to the frame near the wheel hub; (2) to LOOSEN the top front vertical bolt at the front of the hydro mounting bracket and (3) to REMOVE the vertical bolt near rear end of the hydro pump. You mention by doing the hydro pump dropped enough for you to gain access to the 3/4" nut at the top of the fan pulley (by using an offset box end wrench). I have followed all you steps, wheel, fender, belts, etc but my hydro pump did not drop much at all. Since the bottom hydro mounting bracket (at least on my mower) is a single piece and actually supports both hydro pumps, my question is: Did you have to loosen and/or remove any of the mounting bolts associated with hydro pump on the other side of the machine? Just asking because I am still unable to get enough clearance to get any tool onto that top pulley nut. Any comments / suggestions from you or other viewers would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    WL

Sorry that I just saw your question. When I loosened the bolt to the mounting plate and removed the rear bolt to the hydro, it gave me enough clearance. If your design is a little different, it may require loosening the other side for additional clearance. I am just a diy guy so I only know on my mower. On a side note you mentioned the thicker metal on the new bottom plate, but they also redisigned a thicker L bracket to the wheels. I had trouble with my belt jumping previously because those bent.

Thanks for the video. I am now kicking myself because I replaced all my engine mounts yesterday and I knew my replacement fan was coming in today, going to be a lot of rework.
