I agree with the satin or even semi-gloss on patina depending on the level of fade. I'd say next year a Matte clear would be the best value. Been wrenching on radio Flyer this spring as well. Just got the 2.5" BJ's Deaver spring lift kit on it. The stance looks great. I decided to "refinish" the wheels on it. Always wanted them to have the gold colored recesses instead of the dull gray that came with it. The little spray cans of Behr from Home dePot works great. Just finished them up and the gold pops nicely with the dark red. Like you guys, we're hoping to hit the local cars and coffee Saturday with the Wag and Eagle if the weather doesn't go sour.
