So many aspects of this show I love. Jasmine Guy is performing in all dance montages. ⭐ Madonna sings and Whoopi Goldberg's excitement for the very first time as an award winner is incredible. I stumbled upon this video as I have been researching about TTC since last year. My partner and I have been trying to conceive for a year now and it is draining, not just emotionally but physically and spiritually. I have tried everything from fertility affirmations, to taking prenatal vitamins, going for HSG test, pelvic scan and clomid. My partner is also taking fertility meds. I would cry so much every time I got my period. It even got so bad that it affected my faith and I am a spiritual person. I would pray and quote scriptures by faith but nothing happened by the end of last year. Right now I am just looking for hope to hold on to and at least this video gives me hope. I will continue professing that I will get pregnant until I see it come to pass.

It's amazing to see how Goodfellas was mostly snubbed back then. Now, Goodfellas is on TV all the time. It is considered one of the great films made by one of the greatest directors. Although Dancing with Wolves was excellent and worthy of every Oscar it won, you really never hear of or see this film on TV. Kostner is mostly forgotten while Scorsese is still making excellent films.

I would hardly call Kevin Costner forgotten. As of 2023 he is one of the most highly paid actors in Hollywood earning over $20 million for his contract on Yellowstone alone (and that is outside of any other movie revenue he might accrue while the show takes a break). In fact Kevin Costner is probably as popular now as he was in the nineties (especially with the older movie goers).

Orion pictures was struggling financially so put all their eggs in one basket to push Dances With Wolves for Oscar consideration. In doing so they delayed the release of another movie for 3 months. That movie was “The Silence Of The Lambs”. What would have happened if it had been released as scheduled in December, 1990.
