@@ifalomoodulola1 yeah you're welcome 🤗 and we haven't been to Africa 🌍 yet and maybe won't get on that side of the world cause we don't travel and we live in a low income apartment complex and money goes out for important things and for our 2 daughters named Miss Katy griffin and miss Sabrina griffin ages 14, 26.
Im Dominican but I must admit that this parade looks wayyyy more respectable than the Dominican Parade. Less debauchary and degenerate bahavior. More respectful! Music is always fire too.
It was a pleasure working with the WABC-TV Team again. What a wonderful way to support the diverse community of "Harlem" ~ New York! Dorinda Bagwell-Angelucci (PR for AADP Team)
Why did they play African and West Indian music there? Why is the Jamaican designed Pan African flag there? African attire? And people promoting Kamala Harris. None of which are FBAs.
My Family used to watch this from the Apex Beauty School 2nd floor over Smalls Paradise Club from 1969-72! We had the place all to ourselves overlooking the crowds. My parents cooked good food to eat there. Fried chicken, coleslaw, biscuits, mac and cheese, lemonade and iced tea. The parade was bigger waaay more people 😥
I'm from Harlem. I lived down the street on 117th and St Nicholas Avenue. Not that it matters to you channel 7, but i can see nothing had changed in regards to thr AADP. The line up of parade participants is still the same....the music is hasn't changed since the 80's which I totally understand given the cesspool of music thats trending. I didn't see the political line up, perhaps they came through earlier. In any event, I left before they gentrified Harlem in 1992. The one thing they didn't change was this parade. ❤
It was nice that you streamed. However, it would have been better if the camera person gave the same attention to the smaller organizations that walked in the AADP. The families from The Figure Skating in Harlem organization were not even given the airtime during the introduction by the MC. The young ladies of the program were disappointed that they weren't recognized by WABC/NYC during the event.
Glad it's live streamed for a chance, I marched in the very first African American Day parade in 1969 being a member of the Har-You Cadet core at the age of 13, we marched during that time from 110th Street to 142nd Street wow 55 years ago
So glad you were able to watch the parade from where you’re at. We hope to see you again next year prayerfully it will be on TV…… Veronica H advisory board member of the African-American day parade

Thank you WABC-NYC for streaming this live for those of us who could not be in Harlem today.

UNITY should not only be for the parades. Most PAN AFRICANS are in AA/FBA parades and spaces but not in support of AA/FBA in getting reparation...
Love is the message
God Bless African-American Day parade!
Trump 2024. No more wars. More jobs and no to Illegal immigrant

They cut the parade short. We didn't get to see the Divine Nine. What happened ? Streaming means to whole parade , right? Cut off with DC37,
Thank you and we the griffin family loves parades. And float 😂🎉❤

What happened to the live stream. All I am getting is commercials
Never heard of this
😂
A WASTE of Time and MONEY. This could have been a lot better.
It must be International Culture Day for the state of New York, the Mexican Americans are celebrating too!!!
OMG I never knew that this parade is a political platform 😮
They’re not supposed to take sides
What is the point of any of these "special months" for these groups if they are just gonna do this stuff all year round?
When is the white American day parade?
They have a French, English, Polish, Norwegian, Scottish, and more parade each year in New York. A quick Google search would have let you know 🤡.
