I watched the finale, wrote a watch guide and thought that was it. But I couldn't stop thinking about Sound! Euphonium so I did this short video in a half a day. Hopefully this lets me focus on other projects. The Jellyfish can't swim in the night script is looking good but I'm not yet done with writing and it will take some time.
Thanks for covering this - Hibike! is my favorite anime of all time. The last two episodes made me feel things I no other anime ever managed to. Kumiko's personal growth compared to season 1 was incredible, yet so real and painfully well-deserved, that I felt genuinely proud for this fictional character, as if she were my relative or old friend. Masterful acting by Tomoyo Kurosawa. Sure, the last season had its small shortcomings, but given that it was limited to 13 episodes, it's amazing how emotionally fulfilling the ending of the story was. Sincerely hoping for more Hibike! for the 10th anniversary next year!
Having a crush is fine, it's more of the implications for the future and how early she developed that crush. Hypothetically if we ever get an epilogue where Reina has moved on because like you said having a high school crush on your teacher is realistic I'd have no issues with it.
@@gondolamedia She seems pretty devoted to it, I don't think she'll grow out of her love and obsession, the same way she won't stop playing the trumpet. I really don't think it would be an issue for her to spend some five to ten years in the US and then come back to try to get with Noboru Taki.
@@hexcodeff6624 Sure, if she's not thinking about him in the 5-10 years. If she's literally waiting for her age to become more appropriate, it's still creepy. Her devotion was a little weird. She asked him personal questions about his late wife in school, his place of work. She even visited his wife's grave, and although her intentions were good/respectful, I think that's something you ask for permission first still.
@@DivisonXx She clearly isn't thinking about her own age at all, or else she wouldn't have confessed when she was 16 or 17. She just wants to get closer to Taki, enter the same phase in life as him.

just finished rewatching the entire series just to cope with the ending, it broke me so hard. now going to buy the blu ray

Didn't watched the anime, I don't know why I bought the Blue ray.
