I never comment on people's channels but you are one of the most genuine, interesting, I love the relationship you have with your sister, your man, but most of all u have a great eye and your merchandising for your store is spot on
Oh Amanda your display is just to die for. It had me imagining an English woman (mannequin of clothes), leaving home (hounds tooth suitcase) on a train and placing the suitcase above her seat on the train and settling in with a good murder mystery book.
I heart your merchandising display episodes. You're so good and put so much thought into it. The small touches of red were all that was needed to say Valentine's Day.
I’ve added a small amount of valentines into my space. I don’t invest a lot into “holidays” but rather do seasons, and special groupings of items that go together. I live in a small town and my space is on the square in an Antique store, quaint and lots of traffic! I refresh my space twice a week adding in more stock because sales are pretty remarkable. I’ve been doing this almost thirty years now and had several spaces in different areas. This one is my last one. I’ve stopped doing shows, but still like to go to them. Happy hunting!
The valentine display was perfect. Very simple and not dime store nick nacks like booths I've seen. It's purposeful. Love you and your style. I have an antique vintage booth and I learn a lot from you, and you are entertaining too boot! Lol. I have my easter stuff out the second week of February. You know some customers might not come the week before a holiday. You want to snag them early I say.
Beautiful! As for me, I similarly add a touch of Valentines. The mall where I have my booth (Queen of Hearts in Buford, Ga) does a Spring Fling in March so I invest more time in that. If you come back to Georgia, I invite you to visit us.
Love it! Rewatching some of your videos from earlier in 2024 for inspiration in my booth. The vintage valentines are great and I like the romantic feel to your display without going over the top valentines.
Perfect timing watching this. I just signed last month for a booth in an antique mall. Was selling online but pretty much over shipping and photographing. I love styling and displays so I thought this would be a nice change of pace. My lease starts February 1st and I am planning a valentines display but was concerned about overdoing it. This display is absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to actually get in my space and set up my own. I've tried watching a few vendors now and you are by far the most relatable and relaxed. Really enjoying your videos and looking forward to stopping by and seeing your booth this year in person. I live in WV and drive to Stafford, VA and NC to visit family so I will definitely make a trip over. Thank you for all your hard work putting out videos on top of everything you have to do for your business. You are an inspiration. Happy New Year to you and yours.
I had a bar cart set up with a bunch of red and valentine leaning stuff and a bunch of heart shaped vintage trinket boxes scattered about. Very few ❤ things sold. I put a bunch of Easter Bunny things in last week and have already sold a bunch. My bar cart now is leaning into St.Patrick’s Day since we have a pretty high % Irishy customers. And my last name is Callahan so there’s that! 🍀Pulled all the remaining Christmas/ Winter decor and did a soft lean into spring. In general the other vendors in my area tend to lean into holidays without going full on Homegoods
Love this “lean in” decor for V-Day. I adore the little memoriam for the poor Catholic girl. My parents never took or bought the pics the church sold after any of my sacraments. 😢😢😢. I guess we were poor or ignorant or both.
Amanda, you are truly a inspiration and a boss at searching and styling and editing. I've watched all off youre older video's untill this one and still not bored haha😂 Hope and wish to be one day on you're level. And so gratefull for all youre input and openess Greetings from holland
5:36 I know exactly what you mean about testing lights, I had a strand explode one time and I’ve had a hard time with it ever since. Everything looks amazing! I wish I could have as much restrain as you with decorations for holidays but I have the “too much gene” on that lol Edit: one thing that sold well for me in my Valentine’s Day set up this year was Champaign flutes and coupes also wineglasses.
Absolutely gorgeous, Amanda!! I love just the touches of Valentine's Day rather than a full blown display. I do the same in my booth so I don't have to pack it all away. As always, you inspire me!
Amanda! You are so talented with your staging! That checkered cardboard suitcase reminds me of what my mom had when she sold Princess House Crystal back in the 70s!
@amandasmercantile Just found your channel, but I absolutely loved the whole outfit. Seeing clothes on mannequins is less overwhelming for me and is great for outfit ideas.
I love how everything is staged. You have the best ideas on putting stuff together. The only thing that might need to be tweaked is having the little stool hiding the picture of the girl and her flower crown. She is so special. Just don’t want her to be hid, but she may have sold already. Good eye finding her!❤️
I think it is the perfect touch. I put a small amount of Valentines in my booths. Spring, Gardening, Rabbits for late February. Great video Amanda!!!! 😊
I think your display is spot on! You really have a great eye. I have a vintage clothing and accessories booth and I just pulled together a couple of red looks along with some books of poems, romantic albums, .....etc
I do just a little vignette of Valentine's in my booth, just to add some touches, but not overpower it. Yours looks great! I love the decor, especially the large mirror & the chandelier..oh my word!! how I wish I had a place for that! Just stunning!
Absolutely beautiful!!! I especially like that confimation photo in the shadowbox frame! I have a photo of my grandmother like that, as well as several others that need to be framed and displayed in my home. I just can't decide which wall to use.
Love your pink jumpsuit and Mike's haircut! I don't spend too much time or energy on the "over in a day" holidays. I'd rather concentrate on those that last a full season and bring in the real money - Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. I'll put a few token things out for the other holidays just to show that my booth is up to date and being tended, but focus more on the season rather than those specific days. It makes transitioning the booth a whole lot easier!
Loved the small touches!! Great set! As always your content is awesome! I would have bought from auctions also. Good pieces are getting harder to find!!
I absolutely love your booth! You are so talented and have an amazing eye for creating an enticing display. I would love to shop your booth! I live in CA so I’m trying to get my husband to take a long road trip! 😊
The display is so classy and interesting... I love the subtle nod to valentines without it getting in anyway cringe. You really are a star at staging beautifully. Also loved the music and always good to see Mike and pups... like the haircut Mike :)
Yes, I am with you on just adding a few Valentine's Day items into my booth space - and doing this a little later than some of the other booth owners in my Antique mall. And now that Valentine's Day is past, we are bringing in Spring with blue and white , bunnies and garden themed items - oh and a massive amount of Fransiscan Desert Rose dishes and accessory pieces. Good video, Amanda - you are an incredible inspiration.
Your videos and content are fantastic and so enjoyable! I don't under why your posts don't have more "thumbs up" and likes. I REALLY THINK you should start saying something like... "please give me a thumbs up if you enjoyed this video...." and see what happens. REALLY!!! Your posts are wonderful and I'd like to see you appreciated for all the effort!
I also am a reseller and have a booth. My philosophy is exactly like yours. A few holiday items mixed in with pieces that can stay up year round, but make a great looking vignette. I loved watching how you put yours together! It looks great!
It looks so great! I will say I am a planner and in my house I want to decorate for Valentine's by mid January so that I can leave it for the one month before Valentine's. I don't want to decorate for just 2 weeks. Same kind of thing for fall and the holidays. I've already purchased everything I'm going to use for Christmas before mid November so just something to keep in mind. I know I'm not the only one. ❤
This is the way we style for different holidays or seasons in our vintage boutique. Just a touch of the season or holiday, but not getting away from our eclectic style ❤hugs from Welsh, Louisiana ❤
We go lightly into valentines day...I happen to collect antique valentine cards so I always put out a few for collectors...today we swept valentine's day away and put in a bit of Easter...
I absolutely love how this came together. You are so talented. I definitely like to do a little Valentine's before jumping into spring/Easter. Well done. ❤
It looks wonderful! You are my favorite RUclipsr by far! I never get tired of you, and your eye for display is the best….I hope the Valentines all sold 🤞
Love this Amanda! This is my first year into owning a vintage booth and I way over did it with seasonal things. I love the idea of just a small display and will lean into that going forward. ALTHOUGH, Christmas sells! And I was blown away away by my profits during Christmas. I might even start bringing it in before Halloween 😮! Loved spending time with you this afternoon. Can’t wait to do it again 😊.
It was so great to see you a couple of weeks ago and your booth was beautiful. I always draw so much inspiration from your style. Eventhough, I use much brighter colors I love your ability to layer without overdoing it! Priceless❤❤❤
I did some hints of Valentine's right after the first of the year. Like you, I put together a display of romantic items and colors without full-blown Valentines. I had one framed oval vintage Cupid pic and some vintage presidents perfume bottles that sold right away. The other items have had trickle sales. I put out spring and Easter on Feb. 1 and it has been selling briskly. Just about out of bunnies. I continue to restock with more green/spring/birds/nests, etc. I am saving my blue for when Easter and spring die down, and I already have a curated collection of red, white, and blue started for a later display as we move closer to summer.
Just enough of Valentines Day. Totally agree with you not to over do or set it up too early. Especially if that's not your thing. Does show your there keeping up with how the booth looks. Love the Jump Suit.
Amanda, I love this display, you've given me so many ideas for my own booth display. Your videos are so fun to watch. You are so creative! I also love the letter A in the dish. Is that your business card? I would love to receive one or see it on your video. I look forward to seeing your next video!!! KAT
The best part of this was that sweet Buddy of your's!! 💕. Probably thought who's here? 🤣. Love the idea of vintage decor in Valentine's day. Hard to find nowadays. It's always fun to see you ..
Goals right here. Such a fantastic romantic display. I put a few valentines things in my booth and all sold but 1 item. And i too put it in mid to late january
If you get a bird cage stand, you can hang your chandeliers and lightning so you can show off it better. Love your dog, really cute.
I never comment on people's channels but you are one of the most genuine, interesting, I love the relationship you have with your sister, your man, but most of all u have a great eye and your merchandising for your store is spot on
That's a great comment & a true sentiment shared by many fans !
Keep us posted on sales ❤️ I love watching your videos thanks!🇨🇦
Completely agree!
Love the display, jumpsuit & Mike's haircut. You two are fun to watch together! I really look forward to your videos & you never dissapoint.
Ditto!
Oh Amanda your display is just to die for. It had me imagining an English woman (mannequin of clothes), leaving home (hounds tooth suitcase) on a train and placing the suitcase above her seat on the train and settling in with a good murder mystery book.
Yes! I love that 🥰
Sounds good , Toni ... we'll all buy a ticket & ride along w/ you .
I heart your merchandising display episodes. You're so good and put so much thought into it. The small touches of red were all that was needed to say Valentine's Day.
That handmade valentine is so sweet!❤ Love how romantic your display is without being too on-the-nose.
I’ve added a small amount of valentines into my space. I don’t invest a lot into “holidays” but rather do seasons, and special groupings of items that go together. Always celebrate Valentines Day because so many people need to know that they are loved.
An extra touch could be a gold heart locket on the mannequin! ❤
The valentine display was perfect. Very simple and not dime store nick nacks like booths I've seen. It's purposeful. Love you and your style. Superb display! My absolute favorite kind of video that you make, because you're so dang good at the booth resets.
Beautiful! As for me, I similarly add a touch of Valentines. The mall where I have my booth (Queen of Hearts in Buford, Ga) does a Spring Fling in March so I invest more time in that. If you come back to Georgia, I invite you to visit us.
Yea you did valentine! Cute jumpsuit! Love the long mirror. That won't last long.
Sold Immediately 😂 thank you!
Love it! Rewatching some of your videos from earlier in 2024 for inspiration in my booth. The vintage valentines are great and I like the romantic feel to your display without going over the top valentines.
OMG the music!! Love it!!!

I realize I'm late to the party but that pink jump suit is FANTASTIC!
Love this “lean in” decor for V-Day. I adore the little memoriam for the poor Catholic girl. My parents never took or bought the pics the church sold after any of my sacraments. 😢😢😢. I guess we were poor or ignorant or both.
Love Mikes haircut 💇🏼♂️
Your booth always looks well done. ❤
Amanda, you are truly a inspiration and a boss at searching and styling and editing. I've watched all off youre older video's untill this one and still not bored haha😂
Hope and wish to be one day on you're level. And so gratefull for all youre input and openess Greetings from holland
I live locally and I love checking out your booth whenever I go to FAM. I love your rich and moody style. You display it so well. You are an artist.
I LOVE MIKE'S
HAIRCUT!!!!!!!
5:36 I know exactly what you mean about testing lights, I had a strand explode one time and I’ve had a hard time with it ever since.

Looks Fantastic ❤️ I agree that the little bit of Valentines Day flair is enough & makes your life easier👍🏼
Nice hair cut Mike🎉. Love watching you Amanda🎉❤❤
I love the "romantic" theme with a touch of hearts and Valentine items!! Loving this idea for seasonal tablescapes, thanks for going for it!
Amanda! You are so talented with your staging! That checkered cardboard suitcase reminds me of what my mom had when she sold Princess House Crystal back in the 70s!
I believe that’s exactly what that suitcase is!
I wonder if some red on the mannequin's outfit would draw the eye up more !? A scarf or brooch? Just my thoughts.
Agreed! A red beret would have been 🤌🏼
@amandasmercantile Just found your channel, but I absolutely loved the whole outfit. Seeing clothes on mannequins is less overwhelming for me and is great for outfit ideas.
Add a red scarf or black velvet vest or perhaps a red vest to the display
The swans are $1 a piece on a Amazon. They’re used for party favors. Your Valentine’s Day table looks great!!!
I love how everything is staged. You have the best ideas on putting stuff together. The only thing that might need to be tweaked is having the little stool hiding the picture of the girl and her flower crown. She is so special. Just don’t want her to be hid, but she may have sold already. Good eye finding her!❤️
Also, thank you to the dealers comments on here letting us know what is selling.
Beautiful as always!! The morbid and oddities really do sell. Not really my thing, but there's definitely a market for it.
Love it! I probably would have added red heart candy in cellophane to one or three of the swan thingies.
I think it is the perfect touch. I put a small amount of Valentines in my booths. Spring, Gardening, Rabbits for late February. Great video Amanda!!!! 😊
Just enough, very classy and not cheesy. ❤
I think your display is spot on! You really have a great eye. I have a vintage clothing and accessories booth and I just pulled together a couple of red looks along with some books of poems, romantic albums, .....etc

Look at you in that cute pink jumpsuit! Love your display! You are so good at vignettes!
Great job, love the display.Maybe some greenery, nothing fake but one or two house plants.
Absolutely beautiful!!! I especially like that confimation photo in the shadowbox frame! I have a photo of my grandmother like that, as well as several others that need to be framed and displayed in my home. I just can't decide which wall to use.

Fill the swans with peppermints!
That chandelier…❤️❤️❤️ and the valentines! Love seeing your finds and am so inspired every time your videos pop up!
Loved the small touches!! Great set! As always your content is awesome! I would have bought from auctions also. Good pieces are getting harder to find!!
I do just a smidge of Valentines Day.
I absolutely love your booth! You are so talented and have an amazing eye for creating an enticing display. I would love to shop your booth!
I live in CA so I’m trying to get my husband to take a long road trip! 😊
We put Valentines decor in but it doesn’t sell well. Only sold a few pieces, brought most of it home.
I always enjoy watching your creativity! Now I want a jumpsuit…😊
I did just a touch of Valentines day, love your choice of music!
The display is so classy and interesting... I love the subtle nod to valentines without it getting in anyway cringe. You really are a star at staging beautifully. Also loved the music and always good to see Mike and pups... like the haircut Mike :)

Great comments .... Fans really love you & what you do ! ( best music !!)
I love what you did, if i had all the proper stuff I'd want to style just like you, lol.
Great display! I did invest some in Valentine's, but I am really liking your idea.

You are so good at displaying! Fantastic display. How did it do? Have you sold it all!?
That Chandelier is AMAZING! I wish you were closer, I would buy that in a heartbeat!
This is the way we style for different holidays or seasons in our vintage boutique. Just a touch of the season or holiday, but not getting away from our eclectic style ❤hugs from Welsh, Louisiana ❤
Just found your channel and just saw you’re in Virginia! I am so excited to know of this place and will plan on coming by to shop!
I'd find a way to hang the chandalier, and I love your pink jumpsuit
Love your set up! Adorable! Your jumper is adorable too❤
Your the best 👌 love it dont ever stop 😅😅😅😅😅
We go lightly into valentines day...I happen to collect antique valentine cards so I always put out a few for collectors...today we swept valentine's day away and put in a bit of Easter...

The electrician saves the day....yeah! ❤
Your valentines display IA awesome. Beautiful 😍
I love your styling! It gives me the bravery I need to make better educated choices when I’m styling! You rock!
I sprinkle in Spring, Easter, St Patricks Day and Valentines into my vignettes. I have 1 remaining Valentines items, sold all 6 St Patricks Day items.
Love the haircut, Mike
Another fabulous display!
I love your displays and how you create a look with a few well placed items. Keep up the great work.
Love the pink coveralls!
Thanks for sharing your display setup. I just expanded my booth so I love seeing new ideas of setting up.
The pink boiler suite is 😘😘
Great job love it all .That chandelier would have come home wth me if i was closer .Beautiful.
It was so great to see you a couple of weeks ago and your booth was beautiful. I always draw so much inspiration from your style. Eventhough, I use much brighter colors I love your ability to layer without overdoing it! Priceless❤❤❤

Subtle & romantic. And how did you hang the silver plate tray on the door?? Command strip??
I could watch you do that all day. Love your videos and styling.
You crushed it!❤
Love it!! Perfect everyday decor!! That mirror….!! So pretty! 😊
Just enough of Valentines Day. Totally agree with you not to over do or set it up too early. Especially if that's not your thing. Does show your there keeping up with how the booth looks. Love the Jump Suit.
I love it; right on. I agree a little bit goes a long way and can quickly be changed.
Of course your booth display is super fantastic!
Amanda, I love this display, you've given me so many ideas for my own booth display.
Your videos are so fun to watch. You are so creative!
I also love the letter A in the dish. Is that your business card? I would love to receive one or see it on your video. I look forward to seeing your next video!!! KAT
❤ I did add a little Valentine's but did sell much. Your booth is beautiful!! Can't wait for spring.🌼🌱
The mirror!!!!
I neeeeed that pink jumpsuit in my life!
The best part of this was that sweet Buddy of your's!! 💕. Probably thought who's here? 🤣. Love the idea of vintage decor in Valentine's day. Hard to find nowadays. It's always fun to see you ..
Chandelier ❤
Beautiful display 🥰
