Thank you!
This is an INCREDIBLY helpful video. It helped me realize I'm doing it right (mostly!) :)
Thank you for sharing your experiences and all the inspiring Monday videos. I am still crawling in my 2nd year and you have been one of my inspirations!
Thanks for the video. On the zip tie tails, check out the Klein 86570. Cuts them off ultra mega flush, it's one of my favorite tools I've discovered. Thanks again for the video! I'm just getting into the hobby and can't wait for packages to show up.
Awesome video as always ! You say you don't power inject. How many 12v pixels do you run max per port?
I try to keep it to no more than 350 per port
Wonderful as always Ron. Sorry I haven't been on but we all know how life happens.
Good video Ron 👌! Almost winter 🥶 ❄️ here, ice and snow…. no sprinkler system running here at that time 😜
Oh, those winters are so different than here.
Yeah, west coast Canada 🇨🇦
I borrowed the idea of using the standoffs from you (I saw them in a prior BTS video), they work great.
Thanks for the great walk through video. Do you leave a lot of this up until the end Christmas season?
Much of it stays up for Christmas. I will replace spiders with snow flakes and add five props to the top roof. The left and right yard will both change with the exception of the GE Tubes.
What are the lights you use to turn of the street lights
Thanks Ron, insightful and nicely produced video as always. On a side note have you any idea how I can stop the alert panel popping up in xlights asking me if I’m sure I want to do a bulk colour update. Drivin’ me nuts😀
I wish I had an answer for that. It's very annoying.
Thanks Ron. I guess possibly an annoyance shared is an annoyance halved…..least that’s what I’m gonna’ hang on to for now.
Ron, would you mind sharing how you mounted your pinspots. Just received mine.
One is on a stand and pointed up while the other is affixed to a rebar.
Nice set up shame my houses front garden is a car park so I can only do roof and walls. You can Use flush cuts snips on your zip ties (no more sharp stabby in the armies).
True but then what fun would that be knowing my friends hate the ends not being snipped?
@@xTremeSequences very true lol
What is the clear cover over your P5 panel?
That is vinyl wrap to weather seal the P5 panels.
I genuinely thought the thumbnail was a minecreaft shader thing, because the lighting looked weird.
LOL. Not quite.
Can you link to the pen light used on the lamp post?
Certainly. Here you go: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003N7BCFE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
You're the best. Thank you!!@@xTremeSequences
Ron can you show the lights you use to turn off the street lights .
CHAUVET DJ LED Pinspot 2 Compact Hard-Edge LED Spot Light a.co/d/77PsQ2G
Does the light have to be turned on the entire time to avoid street light turning on? If so, is the light noticable in your show? Any chance of a quick video of the light in action to turn off light?
Yes, it does or the sensors tuen the street lights back on. I am asked every show how I turn my street lights off so I guess that means nobody notices them. You can also hide them with other props.@@tube.perfect
@@xTremeSequences Thanks Ron. Looks like I'll have to give it a whirl and see how it goes. 🤞
Are those lights waterproof? I think I want to mount mine to my roof. The light is in my Amazon cart waiting for an impulsive night of "proceed to check out" 😊
