The idea Kelly was saying about skaters working for companies that skate-stop spots is truer than he thinks!! I install those yellow bump patches that they put at the top of stairs but I always "forget" to do 1 corner (;
Mark is such a rad dude. He skates with my homies Aaron Kim and Sammy Montano and when I first saw him skating with them he was so chill and causal he acted like a homie 😁
this to me was genious, id love to watch this as a series, video parts past and present, get the inside info on how the clip went down, i really really love this! good job! and with a such cool guy like mark who is just great to listen to talk about anything, this video was a treat! thanks!
I met his dad on my way to shell park, we talked skating the whole way. He seemed like such a cool, so proud of his son. He was a bus driver! Always loved apples style and trick selection. Loved the new part!
It's so refreshing to see a part come out with such good style and tasty trick selection. I'm so over the flip in, flip out, body varial underflip, double flip crap. Gimme a 360 flip 5-0 or a nollie flip crook on a hubba any day. Oh and it helps that Appleyard has THE BEST STYLE EVER!

I just watched the part and I'll admit it took me a minute to get into it. There are so many dude's out there right now throwing down stuff that wasn't even imagined a decade ago. I had to scale back my expectations and remember that I've been a fan of his for probably 15 years. Is this the best part out there? No, but I totally relate to Chris's statement about it feeling like an older part. This was very nostalgic. Appleyard is a little older so he's not jumping down the big stuff he used to, but he's so smooth. This is a good part from a skater with great style.
@@marcusbrown87 mike Carroll put out a part where he just seshes pier 7. No music. No gimmicky editing. Just one long ass flat ground line and it’s one of the best things I ever seen
Not gonna lie, when I saw 🍏 🧈 new part the first time a few days ago, I thought it was a long lost Appleyard part I somehow had never seen before, lol. That’s how smooth the dude still is on a board. Damn near looks in his prime still.
Damn..I didn't realize that apples is only a couple years older than me. Seems like I grew up watching him..which I did, but thought he was at least 5-10 yrs older in age.
Sorry was my first video. Got me inspired to go try kickflips off curbs. Seeing a new apples part almost 20 years later get me in the feels. FUCK YEAH!(air humps)
you know how mark says "thats just against code.." he hit it right on the money!..i found out that the actual CODE of conduct on handrails has very specific do's and dont's, since they are intended to aid handicapped, disabled, elderly or any other physically challenged person. and one of the major donts, is having akward ass knobs on the rail, theyre actually considered dangerous. It is required to have a smooth surface for the pedestrian to grab/grip for safety and functionality. if theres some bumpy knob shit on there.. it could potentially cause the pedestrian to lose their grip and or cause extra unnecessary harm. which makes more of a possibility to have a case of faulty quality on the citys part. thats theyre responsibility and its technically not allowed...look it up

Puttin out a part like that at 38 is crazy..
Im 38 and my bodies fucked. Im so stoked for appleyard that hes still healthy enough to create such an incredible part
Him and Ryan Decenzo are like the Keanu Reeves of the Skateworld.
Super impressive

His part is sick but the music selection made it feel low energy to me.
A bit too mellow. I mean, it fits the style and tricks, but it would've been cool to hear a track that had a bit more energy
His Berrics Battle Commander had Rick Ross - Hustlin' I always thought that was cool.
The music in his Flip parts was pretty horrible but made it memorable
