One of the things I like about this movie is that it uses the alpha, beta gamma correctly. If only in real life when people use those terms they at least got the definitions or at least the general idea correctly when they use. them aside from just using alpha correctly. But my god.. they get Beta wrong all the time. Calling someone “Beta” is essentially saying someone is 2nd place or 2nd in command. You cannot be a joke and be at the number two spot that term is not an insult. That’s like me trying to belittle The Vice President…. I didn’t realize being 2nd out of 10 people was bad, or 2nd out of 50.. 100.. 1000 The higher we go with this the more abused people sound when trying to use this word like it’s an insult. Gamma well 3rd place, a high status individual definitely not as capable as an alpha or beta but definitely not a joke either. Sigma on the other hand in more like an insult in my book that’s like calling someone the leader of the low status individuals. Definitely not High or Middle status if you’re sigma. More like first place among the low status individuals. Ex) 10 people race and one guy finishes at 7th. or 700th out of 1000 people. And then there’s omega…. No sugarcoating it that’s literally dead last. 10th place out of 10 people, 1000th place out of 1000 people. The lowest status anyone could possibly get. This is the *correct term* for a lowest status. Not Beta. 😂
