Though i am about 2 years late to listen to this video clip, it's definitely a fantastic Father - Son interview. It recalled my personal interaction & shared experience with your dad back in MGSS - 1975. Dato Seri Idris, you are our living wikipedia

So fantastic, humble and original. Push the frontiers and achieve impossible targets without fear if retribution and failure. Truly a leader we can learn from. Congratulations and thanks for sharing. Salute you Sir!

Love it! So much to learn about leadership here! Corporate transformation, impossible goals, honesty and transparency. While the driver for learning was the literal reaching of the world behind the mountain for Dato, this is such a powerful visionary statement for all our children. Thank you for this great interview

Excellent. But I prefer the interview around less than 20 minutes. Anyway excellent tips from Dato Idris.

Hey Joescher! Glad you tuned it and enjoyed the content. We got so carried away on on the guitar chat that we forgot to unpack the third. Here it is (in my dad's words!):
"The third is “Solitude”. Make it a practice to take time out (at least once to 2 week) to spend time in solitude - alone in deep reflection and prayer. Look at yourself in the mirror and reflect on what is going well and not going well in your life at work and at at home. Reflection is key to finding out how to address some of these problem and to recharge one’s’ batteries.
During the reflection, look for any signs of burn out eg incessant cynicism, low morale/productivity, finger pointing, etc. The exercise in solitude for Christians means prayer and Bible reading."
Hope this helps. Admire the work you're doing.
      Blessings to the family!
