I added my own game plot, hoping it could be a fallout game, might not been the brightest move.

I'm surprised you didn't ask any ghoul question though. They, like super mutants had complicated history inside the games and outside of it. Rip ghouls 😅.
Oh awesome idea man! My “Fallout dream” is a Texas Fallout game. It would be set in San Antonio. The protagonist would be from vault 50(was that number used yet?) or you can be from a small settlement in San Antonio. Then you could choose your career, a bit similar to Starfield. The antagonist faction would be a combination of survivors from the institute, some old enclave members and other survivors from Caesars army(The faction having a brand new name of course). This evil faction wants to be the new brutal political power in Texas and then they want to conquer other states. The Vault dweller would team up with the BOS, NCR, and two brand new factions to defeat this new threat. I’m thinking the two new factions should be these powerful rich ranches that own other settlements(Plus there should be a classic feud between the two). The main base for the good guys would be the Alamo and you can use the Bethesda settlement system to give it more strength(similar to the Minutemen castle). I would have my character wear Davy Crocketts raccoon 🦝 hat lol 😂
Would you still like that game if besides NCR and Institute returning it was just Caesar's legion and BOS and then new factions that would take the role of the NCR and Institute?
@@bromosome8049 That sounds cool but I still prefer the NCR and combining forces with the Institute survivors(for the evil faction). I wanted to add the NCR because there’s this ongoing Civil War between them and the brotherhood of steel(Plus it would be cool to have some connection to the TV show from this). Plus in NV they mentioned that they had some connections in Texas.
I've missed some of the previous surveys so I'm happy this is a dedicated video on it. (Been busy with things so I'm not always online sometimes). I've made my submission.

I like that you've decided to give people the option of keeping their ideas more private, that's a great decision and I applaud you for it, I haven't written any game concepts for the survey myself, but I like the principle of this change.
Everything I could say is in the survey, but I saw this in the location options, and I would just like to go on record to say that I would also love to see a Fallout game set in Hong Kong, any FO game set outside of the US would already be pretty interesting (I'm very interested in the FO London mod), but Hong Kong itself would be a rich setting, since it would basically tell the story of China in Fallout and would have plenty of real life topics to draw from. I figure it would be "way too political" (if there is such a thing) for Bethesda to make, and it would require more writing chops and nuance than anyone in Bethesda currently has (and it should probably involve perspectives from people who _actually live in Hong Kong_ amongst the writers), but I still love the idea on its own, in a vacuum.

MidwestERN wastelands are poorly handled and are underutilised, I would love to see new stories taking place there.

Well the TV show has already shown that the NCR and brotherhood are still fighting each other years later. So if the NCR ending is canon then it just shows that this little NV truce was very temporary.

New Orleans Fallout game, Refined settlement building mechanics along with combat mechanics from Fallout 4, Story quality on par with New Vegas, And large exploration potential such as the original Fallout games, but this will never happened because Bethesda makes the Fallout games.
Ive had different ideas for fallout dream games over time but at the moment ive been interested in an idea for a game set in some area of California in the future. New Vegas manages to remain independent, haven't thought about under who tho. But regardless of which independent ending, the results for the NCR remain the same, political instability and rising unrest. The failure to annex New Vegas as well as the new and far less generous treaty New Vegas forced them to sign has led to huge shortages of food and power. These massive social and economic issues leads to a few different opposition groups against the government and this fragile situation boils over and a large number army units attempt to stage a coup but fail to capture the president which spirals into a civil war. Havent really fleshed out a main quest but I dont want Call of Fallout: Retrofuturistix Warfare so definitely not "youre just a soldier in one army or another", maybe a more free actor who can serve as an asset type deal similar to NV. The neat idea that I think elevates it is that it could provide a glimpse of life in New California that includes both its higher level of development in areas mostly unaffected by the conflict and then contrast that to the areas that are wartorn and contested for. You get both the image of post-war civilisation continuing to develope as well as the chaos, lawlessness, and destroyed wasteland similar to F03 and F04, itd make for an interesting contrast. I just think the themes of war and its terrible consequences, people continuing to perpetuate the cycle of violence seemingly endlessly, and that of civilisation in recovery yet still on a mission to kill itself lend very well to the broadly themes of the series as a whole.
Dream Game:
1) No Bethesda, BTFO out of our franchise. We trusted them so many times, F3, 4, 76 and all are garbo. We need some proper devs this time who gives a sh*t about Fallout world
2) Get original Obsidian devs back(Obsidian isn't what it used to be many devs who made NV great left Obsidian) or any of the classic fallout devs.
3) Preferably I'd like to see game set in new state or new locations, that's one good thing that all games have where each game takes place in new place.
4) No reboots or spinoffs, just new game for new state.
5) Keep ignoring east coast, only good thing about Bethesda is keeping their games faaar away from west coast so we can ignore em.(I'm looking at you Fallout TV show taking place in the west, you shouldn't exist)
6) Add slightly more RPG elements. I loved how much they expanded skills in dialogue and I want to see even more of it, maybe even make it how jn Outer Worlds there are double the requirements to pass a dialogue check.
7) Maybe divide speech into multiple skills? Like persuasion and intimidation. Maaaybe also deception bt deception feels too samey to persuasion.
8) Divide science into hacking and science, we have lockpicking that only does lockpicking so hacking being it's own skill is fine.
9) Just dividing skills into multiple in general would be nice since it's way too easy to max out almost all skills in NV
10) Buff Charisma by giving it it's own unique dialogue checks and something else. It sucked in F1, sort of 2 and 3, NV. It needs something but it shouldn't replace speech(looking at you F4)
11) More reputation system being fleshed out
12) Make proper random encounters like how F3 had it BUT only let SOME animals appear as random encounters and only some humans as random encounters.

I would LOVE a pre-war fallout game. Something to demonstrate some of the darker sides of Fallout's pre-war world.
Most obvious story, imo, is following a soldier in the moments leading up to the great war, but you could do so much in that universe and make it interesting. Following a cop, a criminal, what have you. Could make for a whole spin-off series.
If ever they do it, the first of those games MUST end on the bombs dropping tho, imo.
Seeing the battle of Anchorage and the war crimes the US committed on Canada would be sick

A already sent my survey. Summary is.
BoS is a major faction (Oh no)
But the chapters are slowly merging together, meaning appalachian BoS, Montana BoS and Midwestern BoS are under the command of one Elder
They are at it's biggest but most unstable and they are returning back west, with tech and well equipped army but a very divided one idealogically about recruitment, tech, mission, the non-human rights
TL;DR: East vs West
I think my dream game would have gameplay like Fallout 4 or New Vegas's (preferably the former, but I don't have too much experience with NV). Definitely keep settlement building from 4 around, but make it have more benefits than just a semi-linked storage and having more shops. Keep weapon modding around, add weapon crafting, and make mods do more than just be better versions of previous mods and some be cheap but purely cosmetic. Have the player have some sort of influence over the factions they side with; help form alliances, enemies, maybe even help an evil faction redeem themselves or have a good faction turn evil. (bonus points if this is how you can make a faction an ally.) And only provide the bare minimum for a backstory for the main character, and let them fill in the gaps through character options, dialouge, simple headcanon, whatever; and also let the character decide and express their own morality. Let them decide if they want to be an altruistic hero, a snarky and sarcastic but ultimately good guy, a cold person with a shaky moral compass who cares about little more than their own survival, or a heartless bastard who delights in the misery of others.
