As an old time fan, I miss Elvis. I cant imagine how you all feel about how unfair things went. We know that Elvis loved Billy & always wanted him close. Your family should have never had to struggle for anything & if Elvis lived things would be different & us ole fans know it. Bless You all.
Thanks for finally answering the question about Elvis being at the Camp if Elvis was at Mohammed Ali's Camp and yes it is in PA. Someone renovated it and it has a picture of Elvis inside of the boxing camp. Mohammed was very good hearted to others and I always thought that could have been a deep connection they both had. Never heard Mohammed say a bad word about Elvis, which I always appreciated. Poor guy from all his boxing days died tragically also. Could hardly speak and he sure liked to always be talking. Last time I saw him was when his daughter was on Dancing w the Stars and it was so sad to see how he deteriorated. Both of them were very handsome men.

QUESTION: Who (besides family) in the Memphis Mafia seemed to take Elvis's passing the hardest? Did anyone seem surprisingly indifferent? Who seemed to change the most, (personality wise), in the Memphis Mafia, after Elvis passed away? How did Vernon change, if any, after his son passed? I know these questions are of a sensitive nature, so if you don't feel comfortable answering, it's completely understandable.

Me not knowing Elvis personally, I would say the jam session on the 68 Singer (Comeback) special. Seems to me that he really enjoyed that part of the show.

Billy is so funny. He’s very quick witted and has tremendous recall. Lainey is turning into a beautiful young lady from a cute kid. A few years ago I did my DNA with 23 & me and Ancestry Both companies told me I am either Elvis’s 7th or 9th cousin. My dad’s family came from Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi. I wrote to them to ask how can they say this without a sample from Elvis. I was told that they are able to do this from samples from Elvis’s living blood relatives who sent their own samples to Ancestry and 23 & Me.
Makes sense. That's how they've caught a couple of murders in years old cases. S new tool in law enforcements belt.
@@sandralybrand9425 yes that’s true. Elvis would also be related to Susan B Anthony. A few other important people too. I doubted it till both companies told me basically the same thing The only difference was 7th cousin vs. 9th cousin.

I finally made it to Graceland! John, who gave us the tour, had so much information it was hard to take it all in. It would have been nice if we could have taken more time in each room, but I was really happy that he mentioned Billy and Jo a few times and pointed out where you had lived. He said, "they're really good people."

Wow, never heard that. Hope they know the answer to your question. But if it is true, I'm sure Elvis would have told Billy. Cause not sure if Billy was with Elvis at that time cause I know Red made the mistake of what was written on the back of the long robe Elvis got for Mohammed. Red got to go along and watch the fight in Las Vegas. Something like People's Choice but was supposed to say People's Champ, pretty sure.

You are very lucky. Not knowing your age, were you living in that area when Elvis would have been at the Camp. I heard Ali was very protective of Elvis and wouldn't let fans bother him. He wanted Elvis to be there to rest.

Was a different time back in 70's and I never knew that Elvis was there. No idea where he lived evens. Cried when he married Pris and teacher asked me what was wrong and told him why I was crying. I was a true die hard fan from a young age and continue to be to this day.

noone probably even knew Elvis was there. The place was pretty secluded and guarded. Which made it a perfect getaway spot for him for a few days.
@@shellywessner8418 I read a newspaper article that someone bought the Camp and was remodeling it to look like it was back when Ali was there.
I would like to go see it but health problems seem to hinder me from traveling.
Was a very nice article in newspaper and showed pictures of big rocks w different fighters names painted on them.
It said how Ali would chop trees down and built some of the cabins out of that wood.
Ali was so loud and always surprised me why Elvis was friends w him but they both liked each other according to what I read.
Would have loved to meet Elvis. Also the Smith family but it will never happen. They are so down to earth and don't think they are better than others.
Billy and Jo have amazing memories. Mine not so good anymore, but I don't think I will ever forget Elvis. Have lots of Elvis things all around house.

Billy you already said how Elvis felt about Priscilla and getting back with her. I believe your version of events.
All of a sudden ( and it might be the new PR machine Priscilla has hired in reshaping her damaged image after last year and the burial etc). But recently JD Sumner is being quoted from his 100-page book that Elvis told him before he died that he never loved Ginger, that he never meant to marry her and only said that to get Priscilla jealous and back because he still loved her and wanted to remarry her but that was the only woman he’ could never have.
Oddly in the divorce deposition docs, Elvis stated that Priscilla had had a fight with Stone in Hawaii and had changed her mind about the divorce asking Elvis to take her back but Elvis said no. NO!
Also Vernon said in 1978 that Elvis was engaged to Ginger and had told him that with Ginger he had finally found the love he had been searching for but God only knew when he would get married.

It seems Priscilla is starting to gather info she likes for her upcoming book in 2025 and once again rewrite Elvis’ history and possibly Lisa’s.

Interesting elevation about no back stories on Elvis songs. I read Red West wrote “Separate Ways” after Elvis and Priscilla’s breakup. And “Always on My Mind” about the breakup as well. So are you saying those songs and stories aren’t connected?
That is true about Red writing the song about Elvis's divorce. Priscilla is the one that says about Elvis singing the song to her but she says it was too late by this time, the marriage was over and she was living with Mike Stone about the Always on my Mind song.
Tell us about Vernon's girlfriend Sandi Miller. Did she have any children?
Yes, Danny talks about Rory Miller, Sandi's son. They were good friends and Rory reached out to Danny after seeing his You Tube Channel, Memphis Mafia Kid.

Happy Memorial Day to Yall. Danielle, be careful getting Laney a snake. I lived with a guy and a girl in Charlotte when I was doing my apprenticeship and one night the snake got out of its cage. That was not a comfortable night as we didn't find the snake until the next day. It was a ball python so it wasn't poisonous but I hate snakes. I locked my door and hoped it wasn't in my room. She found it under the couch the next day while I was at work. She didn't stay with us long as she was a lot different from me and Curtis.

Have lots around my house. Just hate the way they slither and move so fast. Hopefully they are just garder snakes but hard to tell from copper heads which are poisonous.

I can see them fine. Maybe it's painful for Billy to sit at the table because of his knee.
Billy might have to keep his leg elevated, and this is the best way at this time, the videos can be made. Gosh, be happy he takes the time to do them when going through his pain and healing!
