Was that recently? Because I am pretty sure they nerfed him. He used to be able to absolutely destroy Darriwil on his own, but now he dies on me more often than not.
@@skarletfenrir6979 Like I said, he doesn't get deleted every time, but it's much less likely RNGsus will be in his favour than before, when he would win easily almost 100%. He's still an amazing help for that fight if you help out, but Blaidd winning when going solo isn't the guarantee it used to be.
Btw elden ring enemies don't input read the react based off of animations so if your character was in a flask drinking animations the enemy is likely to use an attack its also the same with ranged items like spell
I also tried this with radagon, you can bypass the sudden attack by sprinting and drinking the flask at the same time. So i thought it was input reading stuff
Tip for Margit: When he does his super long ass windup (same for Morgott's 2nd phase) you can just strafe counter clockwise around him super close. You get a bigger opening with the swing rather than his charge + two-hit combo (he often jumps away after the latter.)

Very nice! Although I have to ask, given that it can't be upgraded, why did you choose Meteorite staff instead of say the Carian Glintblade staff? It boosts Greatblade Phalanx, and can be grabbed right at the start of the game just like meteorite using the shortcut to Limgrave.
In order to reach the same scaling with the glintblade staff, he would have to get it to +14. While that may not sound hard, that is with 80 int, which is impossible to get while having a high faith requirement aswell. Additionally, at minimum requirements for int it has almost 100 less scaling than meteorite staff. Over all, its just a better investment to get meteorite staff, especially considering how much damage meteorite is able to do
@@IzukuMidoriya-eq4ox Actually at his int of 30 when casting the Greatblade Phalanx he only needs +7 for the effective scaling to beat the scaling of Meteorite taking into account the spell school bonus. At 30 int a +7 Glintblade staff has an effective rating of 169, give or take because school bonus is calculated after defense reduction, versus the Meteorite staffs rating of 168, and that gap grows each upgrade level up to an effective rating of 219 for a +25 staff. Given that Greatblade gets significantly more use than Meteorite it would probably have been better. Given that you only need smithing 3s to get it to +7 he probably could have done so pretty much immediately.

@@spookytown7963 well this is on me for commenting before actually watching the video, but what I meant is that bhf is more than strong enough to carry him through the whole game and it would have shown if he had leaned more into it instead of spreading his stats but then there’s no point to the challenge, just a normal play through with bhf

Honestly the animation reading is worse, considering the input queue could mess up some enemy's "fuck you" moves
Input reading and animazion reading on frame 1 makes less than zero difference for the end user.

Honestly one of my main takeaways here is that Hughes is actually pretty good if you can balance the aggro with him.

Can you do this with only catacomb rewards? And a separate video with only cave rewards? (Items found inside the locations may also be used)
