MARK makes a great companion. Here he demonstrates that even a novice can strike a spark and start a fire with the aid of char-cloth! Surely, no one can 'replace' Simon, Bloke in the Woods in your videos...but you are a full-timer and Simon works hard at a regular day job. I have NEVER seen baking come out better than it does for you and Simon.
I love to try the meals you make when I’m in the woods. I bet yours is better. I laughed so hard with the chicken dance. I’ve been doing bushcraft since I was a kid. I love the woods. The Maine woods specifically. Winter, spring, summer, and fall! Peace

This has inspired me to put a big diesel motor in my Explorer! We dont get diesel engines in our mid size SuV's or any size SUV for that matter here in the USA. That said , we do get huge stonkin diesels in our full size pick ups . Im going to transplant one of those in my little Explorer.

Ah yes, the legendary Dutch Oven. Congrats on your first D.O., learn to keep it we'll seasoned and you'll never have a bad meal from it. They truly are a great cooking tool beyond any others, except perhaps the fabled cast iron skillet and the beautifully designed cast iron Wok. With these three tools, anyone can rule a kitchen, indoors or outdoors. For more amazing Dutch Oven recipes, check out Kent Rollins here on RUclips if you haven't already. He's very well known for his outdoor cooking with cast iron skillets and Dutch Ovens. He's an excellent Cowboy Chef, if nothing else, and he's a pretty funny jokester as well.

Ordering myself the Onetigris Rock Fortress and a wood stove this week. I'll be taking it up into the Colorado Rockies once it's delivered for a nice little car camping trip with the wife and kid. Frankly I have everything else but those two items for hot tent camping, not that haven't winter camped without them, but I've spent many a very frosty Colorado nights in the woods since moving here this past December. It'll certainly be a new experience for the wife as she's only used to the summer camping aspect and didn't think people went camping in the winter. 🤦 But it'll be nice to have a warm tent to duck into while the Dutch Oven is on the coals. Even pop on the tea kettle and the coffee percolator on the wood stove for a hot drink as needed. And can't wait to put my new kerosene lantern to use as well. It'll make for great lighting when we let the stove die down to coals but still need light.
How pathetic is it that I got tears in my eyes watching you guys eating the roast and vegetables? I had to skip ahead in the video. Things will get better, and I'll eat well too. I love watching you and Marc camping together. ❤

It is my inTENTion to confirm "I'm in please" would love to do a few simular camping weekends in one. I reckon it would work better than a bivvy when away fishing, as well as for proper camping.

I hear maple syrup is in short supply...nooooo! Pancakes and waffles 🧇 need that syrup. Have never tried it with bacon 🥓 tho! Love the camp 🏕 setup and hot tent. So not into cold, but could hibernate in the tents if the stoves were being puffing billies and shedding heat. Enjoy the adventures and bushcraft.

I am addicted to your videos. I used to go camping a lot when I was much younger, but we didnt eat such delicious looking, freshly cooked food on our camps. We made do with boil in the bag rubbish and tins of soup, lol. Thanks for bringing the outdoors, in. Love it ❤
