- This is my cover of Jinjer's "Teacher Teacher". This may be my favorite song off that album. Hope I did the bass part justice. Thanks Eugene for killing it in the original. The tabs are original and aimed to clarify and rewrite some of the notation that was published previously. I hope you were able to learn something from the video. Nice presentation! Eugene says this is one of his easiest songs to play. Looks like fun to me! I haven't played in years but may get back into again after hearing so much new music lately.
Thanks. It's not super difficult to play, but it takes a lot of focus and attention to detail to get through it all at once. Hope you are able to get back into playing soon :)
@@evaningalls I enjoy Eugene's playing because of where he chooses to put his notes and the unique accents and techniques that he uses. I like the use of space and syncopation as opposed to just playing as many notes as you possibly can. In a band with only 1 guitar player there is much more freedom for bass chords and melodies as well as following the bass drum or floor tom in cool patterns.
@@evaningalls Also I had the chance to play bass in the studio and you quickly find out that all of the fancy notes you are playing under that distorted guitar are inaudible and make you choose your notes and rhythms to accentuate the song instead of trying to show off.

Always play with clean/new strings. Im also using some darkglass distortion.

Thanks. I don't have GP files from that far back anymore but I have added a folder with my more recent GP files. Should be a good amount of Jinjer in there.
