Next step is figuring out how to get the cuffs off without picking them. I have a friend who knows how to do that Houdini style, and he got arrested once. Fun fact: Cops don`t like it when you escape from your handcuffs and then hand the cuffs back to them.

A lady was once arrested for something (can't remember what) and managed to slip the cuffs off because they weren't tight enough. She took them off and was charged with resisting arrest, even though she told them they were loose and she could slip out of them (it was the act of removing the handcuffs that charged her with resisting arrest).
