I think this my favorite demo of yours thus far! I’ve never paid attention to tiny stamps or building scenes via doubling up on cutout stamped images….it’s so simple yet I’ve never thought of doing that. Thank you for sharing Lindsay 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Every now and then, I just have to go back to your old cardmaking videos. I enjoy every moment of them. They make me happy :))) Thank you, darling. YOU`RE THE BEST!
I just wanted to thank you for using all that smooshy inky goodness. I too feel disappointed when it is wasted (thought it was just me). Loving those stamps on your awesome card. TFS.
Love this card Lindsay!!! :) You make this process look SO easy!! lol :) The way you built up the panel for stamping/cutting the elements is amazing! Thanks for sharing! :)
I hope the receiver of that card doesn’t throw it out after a week or two 😲😲😬😬... I hope they frame it! It’s gorgeous and the work and love in it is spectacular
Love it, and the lesson.I never think about scene building, or even how to do it. Definately "need" the distress oxide, and just ordered peg stamps. Thanks for always including the links, and coupon codes!
Hi Lindsay I love this card I am going to try it .. I always forget about Reny's having the crafts stuff !!! when I saw your glue with the Reny's sticker ... I have to check them out next week ... thank you for sharing ..
Awesome!!!! Love how you created the metallic look! It looks pretty realistic! TFS, Lindsay! Great card, AWESOME technique! Shared on my FB group page, Roberta's Artistic Adventures & Favorite Links!
Great card, I loved the metallic look. I wanted to thank you for mentioning 1" chip brushes from Harbor Freight instead of the little barber brushes. I cut about 1/2" off the top for better control and really love them for the lighter blending. I'd never have thought of it without you giving me the idea. Sandy
Wiping off that mixture of hues, is like washing down the drain the yummy caramelization left behind by a delicious oven roast! Chefs often say that’s gold you’re throwing gold down the drain!
Fantastic technique! After each step, I thought it was good enough to stop right there, but you kept bumping it up a notch and it turned out to be a stunning creation and strong resemblance to aged metal. I look forward to your notifications hitting my inbox. Like you, I can't stand to waste the ink on my craft sheet, so I always at least have an extra cut card front handy if my first smoosh turns out nicely. The thing that drives me bonkers is "naked buttons"--ha! I always have to put a little linen thread or hemp strands through the holes. I've even been know to pull apart some single thread lengths from my roll of burlap ribbon, or even use embroidery floss. I feel like the card is then fully dressed and ready to go out. ;-)
Waste pretty ink, never! I even use the bits of ink on the mat when I ink blend. I use it to make nice backgrounds or as paper for punching or die cutting.
Love the metallic look, not sure if I can duplicate it or not with what I have, but I'll try it. I wish you would do a compare/contrast on different types of metallic and iridescent media. Markers, paints, inks, etc. I like the look and have none. Would appreciate more info to help me make a better decision and stretch my craft budget. Thanks
I just tried it with some distress paints and metallic glaze! Really fun backgrounds, may or may not use them for cutting out elements, but I am really dying for them to finish drying! I used what I have, and I think it may work! Thanks..! Full confession: I had decided to let the distress paints go, then went to RUclips to find out what they are good for and changed my mind. They were still sitting in the front hallway when I rescued them for today's project. But...I do have a space for them with my liquid watercolor metallics! So... they can stay a while longer :-))
I know I have given things to a thrift store and then gone to look for them a couple of weeks later to use it and think oh NO! I need that. Now it seems like it is even harder for me to let go because of it. Groan! I have to admit my Mom always had a hard time letting things go and now I find myself to be more like her. I guess if we let a few things go at a time we are still getting rid of things. Also my husband is fantastic about getting rid of things so that is really a help to me.
I really like how this turned out. I enjoy scene building and hours are awesome. I'm going to try that faux metal paper.Do you have a video on your blending tools. They are so pretty!
your brush looks just like a good 'ol shaving brush; would that work? Always you make it all seem effortless but I do try, not always successfully, but it's still fun and I always learn something! Thanks for your videos!
Lindsay, LOVE this card, thanks for showing more about these inks. Can you tell me when the stamp show is in Springfield MA? and how can I go register for it? thanks in advance.

Beautiful card!!!
That is beautiful. Are you thinking of making your own DIY distress oxide pads. I love all your DIY videos.

well, as long as we are confessing a couple things wandered back into my craftroom as I packed stuff up for goodwill, only a couple of small things:)
haha I think we are all guilty to some extent.
I know I have given things to a thrift store and then gone to look for them a couple of weeks later to use it and think oh NO! I need that. Candace C, She took an old glass chest set and hot glued doubled over make-up sponges on the bottom of the pawn pieces.

Gorgeous card!
Thanks so much!
What stamps are you using in this video ? Where did you find them ?
+Tracey Bradshaw they all from pegstamps.com links and coupon in description:)

thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich
You are amazing!
Wow, thank you!
How did u make the dauber?
here is the tutorial: ruclips.net/video/tLp9tWf5sao/видео.html
Love this. I haven't gotten any of the oxides because I wouldn't know how to seal them. You mentioned sealing them, how would you do that? Spray?
I'd probably use wax, just rub paraffin wax over top.
Lindsay, I love this card! And I really appreciate it that you are real about the "hot mess" petunias! Great fix!
i call it a teachable moment:)
