Previewing stuff on HS? What are you expecting, a well made game? Imagine crafting cards that generate exclusive stuff and having to get information from external sources to know what you'll generate
It's decent. It's definitely no Tumbling Disaster, double deathrattle/battlecry or Amalgam, but some buddies have very good abilities/battlecries. Personally, I love me some N'Zoth buddy (battlecry: make a friendly deathrattle minion golden) in a lobby with naga or beasts, or playing as Sneed (if you can give a minion a deathrattle, it becomes an eligible target even if it doesn't 'innately' have one). One of the easier ways to make other buddies golden too.
this patch i struggle a lot. Kripp also thought he was doing well on some of his turns but wasnt. i get overwhelmed by huge minions in the midgame while trying to not fall behind in leveling. I either go 6th-8th or first place all the time...
I got the dragon golden buddy. I rand a beast deathrattle battlecry with it and ended up with 3 golden battlecry dragons and two of those immune bois scalled to the moon in just a few turns
I got offered this as Gorefiend - had to scramble to find out what his buddy was. "Whenever a friendly minion dies, give its neighbors +2/+2" (for the golden version). Paaaass - what a useless reward. You'd more be taking it for the triple treat reward. That ability might be ok in the mid game, but it's going to drop off pretty quickly as people start scaling their builds. Edit: now that I think about it, won that game with the fairly weak avenge 4: get a random tavern spell. Pretty much all comp based; the couple of spells each turn were nice but what really did it for me was a golden Rock Rock, golden Rylak and golden Tavern Tempest, so with Teron's hero power and Rylak naturally dying I was getting 8 free elementals each combat which would then be used to, at a minimum, buff my whole team.
He doesn't play meta builds on purpose so he will never climb. Which is also the only reason why he can do ok with these crappy builds. At 10k MMR he would be 8th place a lot more often 😂
I hate that I can't see what is my buddy in a preview when mousing over it
Blizzard smol indie company, don't have the technology
Yup, also the pirate buddy doesnt show how much x/x is at

There is also a quest - at the start of your turn discover a buddy.
Thats one of my favorites

The year is 2040. Hearthstone introduces their 20th minion type. Diablo 6(66) is released. And Kripp still calls blood gems "quills"

When are you hitting 10k, Kripp?

He is new to the game, cut him some slack!
Kripp is an entertainer, playing mmr is more effective but less fun to watch for the average player/vieuwer
