🇯🇵 Cycling 200km on the Myoko Loop

Being based in Hakuba for the winter, I decided to make a scenic loop around Mt Myoko! This area of Japan is still off the map for cycling, but is slowly gaining traction as a great region for both road and MTB adventures.

You can call me Moe - I currently live and ride in Gunma, Japan. My goal is to get more humans on bikes to explore the Japanese countryside. Thank you for watching, Aruna-san! I think you'd love 80% of this route, but I will warn you - the series of tunnels between Hakuba and Itoigawa was not fun. If I did this route again, I would take the train or organize a pick up so I could skip that segment.
