There are ambient lights just not an entire night club they don’t put any strong lights while driving so you don’t get distracted but it’s still a very nice smooth luxurious light that’s customizable
@@specONE Ah okay. I'll have to leave them as is lol. Thanks for sharing. The 2014-2020 IS map lights can be easily swapped out by removing the plastic cover. (I had an 2015 Lexus IS). BTW, for your footwell lights, you can just remove the plastic piece as well, and pull out the bulb instead of having to replace the whole panel ;)
Same process like driver side just without screws , just pull downward on passenger lower panel and it will release the clips, no screws holding it in place for passenger side. You can use your hands to pull down
I just did this on my Lexus IS500 launch edition #164. Great video man really looks a million times better!
Thanks for this video just picked up my 2023 IS 500 and the first thing I did! Video made it possible 😊
Coming back to this video next year when I get the is350 for my wife lol
Thanks for the tutorial this is the only one I found for my car. I will buy Philips ultinon bulbs
Great video, only one for the IS 500. Thanks for uploading.
Did the same on my is 500! Thanks (used Auxito). Thanks!!!
Link for auxito you used?
Thanks for this tip 💪🏼
Damn the plastic cover for the sun visor light is a pain to get back on.
I find it crazy my 2009 is250 has led footwell lights stock and this doesn’t
Is there a way to keep the footwell lights on at night while driving, mine turn on when opening the door but turn off once I start driving
Im sure it's possible but will require some rewiring.
70k car and lexus cant put led in 2022 smh 🤦 also put the F logo on the headrests
Lol a lot of cars are like that not just Lexus. It’s a cheap upgrade though.

I know right that is not good even the ES350 Fsport has led
@@EduardoISF we have leds on our 2019 nx 300 fsport from factory 😂😂
@@EduardoISFit’s inexcusable.
awesome video thank you for sharing
quick question - how did you change the touch control dome lights? Did you have to take the whole top off?
You must be taking about the map lights?
For the 2021+ IS, you can't change. I don't recall how the 2014-2020 IS map light comes out

Is it 194s for the trunk light, foot wells, and vanity mirrors?
Yes it is
I got these for my is500! Are they too bright? That’s my only concern with these!
I don't think they are at all too bright. Personal preference I guess.
Thank you sir
All the interior, footwell, puddle, and trunk lights use the same t10 bulbs?
Yup, all the same size bulbs
@@specONE sweet, appreciate it brotha!
What size led is that bulb? I'm looking for blue to put in the footwells on both sides.
The size of the bulb is 194
@@specONE I have a 2015 es 350….is it the same size bulb?
Sorry I don't have a Lexus ES350 so I can't confirm for you
My foot lighting does not work although the bulb is ok. Any idea?
How do you know the bulb is okay? Is this a LED bulb we are talking about?
@@specONE thx 4 the answer. I Switched it from factroy to LED. When I changed the bulb it was ok but now it doesnt turn on and I cannot figure out why
LED bulbs have polarity direction unlike incandescent bulbs, try flipping the bulb orientation 180 degree in the socket to see if that helps
@@specONE ok will try
Didn't show on passenger side.
The passenger side is way easier, It just pulls down with hand, no screws holding it in place
@@specONE like how?
@@specONE can you elaborate more how, ty
Same process like driver side just without screws , just pull downward on passenger lower panel and it will release the clips, no screws holding it in place for passenger side. You can use your hands to pull down
@@specONE got it....it was scary by pulling those cliffs.
