Me binging boardarchive videos for research for my winter part time job 😂 luv you tj thanks for always keeping us informed and up to date
Love the videos man! Curious to know if you’ll do an updated review on the Kazu. This years graphic is legendary. 🐉
love my hometown hero! just feels super stable and responsive. loves the pow too
Always stoked to see ya drop a video homie 🔥🙏
Thanks G hope to shred with you soon!
Love the vids man keep it up!
Thanks homie!
You're great on your toe edge! Sick riding brother.
Can confirm the Ravine is freaking SICK! I've been riding this at Whitewater for around 2 weeks now. The motto there is steep and deep, and the Ravine turns the whole place into a playground. Would 100% recommend the Ravine, especially sick paired with the Katana bindings from Rome! :D
Rome ravine select pro even more so !
Enjoyed just watching how you ride here :)
What a list!!!
Quite a respectable list
The Yes pyl unic is an insane free ride board !
100% agree
Nice bideo 🤙
Great review...
What size would you recommend on an all mountain board for an intermediate rider at 5-9 220#?
Appreciate it!
Depends on the board and your boot size. For example k2 passport is a good freeride oriented all mountain board while the ride shadowban leans more freestyle. The goodride review website has boot and weight recommendations. Good luck.
how about a burton custom camber, any thoughts guys
Should i buy Burton Custom Or nitro Team pro
Was this a list of top freeride boards that are also good for freestyle?
hello!! i just found very good price for one highpath 159. i'm 180cm, 80kg and 10 US boot. it will be fine for allround board?
u ride the k2 passport this year?
Dude what are the other lighter pants you're rocking? Love those. I think they're 686 and putty color but could be the khaki. Can you let me know? Thanks!
MEEOOOWWW
I wonder how you'd rate the arbor cosa nostra
What binding angles do you run on the FR?
looks like union atlas
My granddaughter fell in love with it the minute she opened it.
No GNU Hyper Kyarve?
Is the Jones flagship in this category or is it more extreme?
Flagship is way more aggressive than any of these. The crazy long side cut radius and stiffness is nigjt and day compared to these boards. Flagship is also not jibbable
Arbor cross cut ? Sounds not too bad. I want some grip , i want carving , i want laid back. , enjoy the ride kind of feel… I want powder approved , i want a bit of butter , flat and natural tricks … seems to be a good choice idk
burton free thinker review?
How tall are you? Just for reference when u say what size you were riding
i'm 5'10
How does the aviator 2.0 compare to these?
The aviator is more all mountain than freeride
Aviator fits right into this list just got one
@@12345b67 I agree
Bro!Waiting for that Union Ultra review.
I got you! The video pipeline is deep at the moment
@@BoardArchive Thanks bro. Your detailed reviews are always appreciated.
TJ, you slippin'. We need the height, weight and shoe size!
What about the flag ship?
Also might add boards like flagship are literally made for Lake Tahoe
Flagship wayyyy more aggressive than this list. Way longer side cut. And definitely more stiff, it’s also practically unjibbable. Fun to lay trenches, kinda hard to hit jump lines atleast for me it was. Also a little hard to do east coast trees with that radius
@@12345b67idk man it's a freeride list and the flagship imo is the best freeride board 🤷🏻♂️
@@giladlavi4393 he didnt list any pure free ride boards imo. Flagship is elite
You seem to ride a lot of different lengths of boards, how do you choose the length?
I request my preferred lengths for the reviews, but they aren't always available unfortunately so the lengths vary sometimes
just wondering how tall you are and your preferred length board
@@carsonrader7246 from his board reviews TJ is 5'10" ~150 lbs. From what I've noticed he generally rides 156cm and down
@@carsonrader7246 depends on the type of board but for like a freestyle twin my preferred size is 154. i'm 5'10 155lbs
@@BoardArchive i am around the same weight and ~5’11. my season rental board is 158 cm. i’m looking at buying a new setup and just wondering what size to get. i am thinking somewhere around 156 cm, what do you think?
So much freeride in the video
Also why are you reviewing free ride boards with park footage
More entertaining and easier to film
Snowboard design has really gone to the dogs in the last few years.
Modern tech is amazing and the mountain doesn’t care about graphics so…
first
sociooo
Confusing video. Freeride focused but show a bunch of footage of you jibbing and hitting jumps. Also you really recommended a never summer? No jones, karua, yes, or Cardiff in a freeride recommendation video? Idk fam
I understand why pros don’t kill themselves to review such conditions, but why won’t even intermediate riders review boards in crappy conditions? My ski hill sucks(coffee mill). I can’t be alone.
Basically, ALL these reviews are useless to the man without great resorts.
