I have 2 HomePod 2’s paired in living room and then paired 2 HomePod minis and labeled them “Living Room Rear”. And when you tap the power button on the remote once a menu appears that will let you select audio menu. From there I checkmark both pairs of HomePods (2 and minis) Andjust the core volume I want them to be separate from each other then back out of that menu. TIP - set the minis volume a little higher to better match the larger HomePods. From there the regular volume control adjusts like normal for both sets. Then boom I have 4 speakers booming Apple Music in my living room space. Be sure to reverse the left and right rear speakers though to match the front speakers so the left and right audio mawtches.

i got one around 2 weeks ago and today i am going to pick up the second. i love the sound, i love everything about it except the price. in italy its 349€ and honestly i think this homepod gen 2 is gonna flop like the original. i mean, it is a really good speaker but it’s not worth 349€, it should cost around 199 if apple wanna sell it, otherwise they wont sell much.

I also think it should have been more competitively priced. Luckily it is still a great product!

If you seriously think 2 homepods sound better than anything you've ever heared. Don't go to the club or concerts because your ears will be blown out

When did I ever say “better than anything I’ve ever heard?” Please don’t make statements up. I said two HomePod 2s are a listening experience “unlike anything I’ve experienced before” and I stand by that statement.

No no no. The A8 chipset is an iPhone chipset while the S7 chipset is for the Apple watch series 7. The Apple watch is nowhere near as powerful as an iPhone chipset. The S7 is equivalent to having a IPhone 4 chipset.

Unfortunately you are either completely misinformed or completely confused. A quick search on the Internet would have allowed you to see the flaw in your thinking:
"The S6, S7, and S8 are based on Apple's A13 Bionic chip from the iPhone 11 lineup and are manufactured using TSMC's 7nm process. Apple transitioned to TSMC's 5nm process starting with the A14 Bionic chip, and the iPhone 14 Pro's A16 Bionic is the first Apple chip to be fabricated with a 4nm process."
Just because a chipset is used in one product and not another does not mean one chipset is immediately inferior or superior to the other - that is especially the case when a more recently-released chipset is used for specific purposes, like it is here in the HomePod.
