    The issue, as others have stated, is this is the wrong market. Kids are super sensitive to fitting in, and no kid is gonna want to wear this and be called a dork. Also, the backpack part is entirely too small to carry school books. This should have been marketed to adult hikers and festival-goers.

      @@haylonixyou are right, she has closed 29% of her deals, and I believe Robert closes 30% of his, but keep in mind that Mark Cuban has a lot more money so maybe he lets things slide more than other sharks would. they didn't go out of business, because they were never in business, they can't fizzle out because there was nothing to begin with. They were home watching Shark Tank and was thinking if they could get lucky and get rich with a investment from the sharks, but they had no good business ideas, so they picked the only thing they had which was some random thing from 16 years ago, and the casting team knew how ridiculous this is so they invited them on for the humor and to get the reactions from the Sharks

    They are averaging $66 per store per month. Heck that's only 2-3 backpacks. That one's going down the toilet

    Why is the audio mixing in all these clips fairly consistently terrible?

    So basically the daughter reinvented a utility vest

  • @unnamed5oldier659

    The problem here is that backpacks dont go in and out of fashion. But vests do. And kids would rather carry every single thing they own in a walmart bag rather than look like a dork wearing this vest. They really should flip to an adult market like fishing or hiking, might have better luck

    It seems like something that was invented before the backpack was and the backpack is the evolution of this stupid thing, if i wear a backpack i can keep my vest on and be able to get things that would otherwise be stuck directly to my back

    I honestly don't see the need to laugh at them so much, the way they did.
    The product looks nice, it looks well made... I see potential in it, tbh.
    But, ok, if THEY dont see that potential and don't want to invest THEIR MONEY, who am I to have a say?
    But they simply bullied them out of the show..... That was uncalled for and didnt look good at all.

    This is a great product, and the entrepreneurs clearly mean well, but I'm not sure why they have a huge lack of sales. I was also confused in the beginning, but I'm glad that was cleared up fairly quickly, I was worried that would ruin the whole pitch!

      It's marketed to school age kids who are a fickle bunch. Basically if it doesn't take off as cool or kids think it looks dorky your product is dead in the water no matter how great you think it is

      @kindauncool Год назад

      +@@tyrellcobb4665 you're right about that. I didn't even think about that, I was confused about the lack too. It's sad! They should have marketed to older people and targeted hunters, fishers, hikers, and bikers.

    It’s actually not a bad product, but as others have mentioned, most kids are trying to fit in with everyone else.
