  • In this 52nd Video from Classic Car ChitChat, you will get to see a beautiful 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria. This car is a 2-door hard top in pristine condition with an absolutely stunning 2 tone paint. This car is a Ford car lover’s dream. Whether you are a fan on the Ford F100, Ford Crown Victoria, or the Ford Thunderbird you will truly appreciate the immaculate condition of this car and you would definitely be wanting it sitting in your garage.
In case you are keeping Track this is Video # 52 of Classic Car ChitChat Videos!
I hope my Classic Car ChitChat video’s make you smile. I do them in my spare time because I truly love cars and my intentions are simply to honour the beautiful cars I get to see and to really understand the passion and love of the vehicle by the driver (or caretaker as Jay Leno would say) of the car. I also understand too that my videos perhaps lack the polish calibre of great RUclipsrs like: Doug DeMuro, Scotty Kilmer, and of course my favourite Supercar Blondie. I also know that I can’t even come close the quality & finish you get from the likes of Jeremy Clarkson and the boys at Top Gear. I think they use a little fancier equipment than my little iPhone… LOL
    Mission Statement:
My Objective through creating these videos is to shine the spotlight on people who love their vehicles whether it be a car, motorcycle, or even a bicycle…. Bottom line is if it has wheels and you love it then let’s show that passion to the world!
    Equipment Used:
Camera - Just an iPhone SE (Nothing fancy - which proves anyone can use whatever you have handy to make a video… you don’t need really expensive equipment)
Gimbal - DJI OM4 - For that ultra-smooth cinematic look. (To be honest... still not quite sure how to use it but one day I will figure it out!)
Audio - Rode Wireless GO II (I gotta be honest… this is really the biggest investment that was made… I wish there was a cheaper option but after the first couple of videos I soon realized that audio quality is important and hopefully better than the onboard mic on the iPhone!
Contact Details: If you have any questions or just want to chat you can reach me through all the (non-traditional) typical ways through the following:
    Facebook - / classiccarchitchat
    Instagram - / classiccarchitchat
    Email - classiccarchitchat@gmail.com
If you have read this far, then I thank you. As always, I truly appreciate your “thumbs-up”, and by leaving your comments it demonstrates to me that I managed to get you involved and hopefully made you smile. Most importantly when you subscribe to my channel then you are truly acknowledging my effort to help share with others like you my passion and love for “all things that have wheels” and honouring the people who take care of them.
    Thank You
    Kevin

1956 Ford is one of the most beautiful cars made in America. Way under appreciated by the general public today.

Steve, so well said. This car checks off all the boxes in my book (plus a few more I hadn’t thought of too). I also wanted to take a moment to personally thank for taking the time to watching my videos, leaving a comment and for subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it.
My intention when creating these videos is to showcase not only the beautiful car but give the owner an opportunity to share their story, love and passion for their car. Thanks again Kevin.

I had the same car in 1964 when I was a senior in High School.. Same color, engine and trans with overdrive. Loved it, wish I had kept it longer. My 1st car was the iconic 57 Cheverolet Bel air, 2dr hardtop, V8 stick. Sold it for a profit and bought the ford for half as much. Liked it better. I had always like the looks. Still do and find myself looking for another one even now.

Roger, first off.. you are definitely a car guy with Bel air and the Fairlane.. don’t you wish you were able to keep them both.

Ashley you are so right and the 2 tone colours really helped to showcase the beautiful lines on the cars. Modern day cars not only look very similar they also never have 2 tone paint sadly.

Donna, First of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos is to allow ´ordinary people’ like you and I who love cars an opportunity to speak about their love of their car and why that car means so much to them. After all we are all the ´caretakers’ of our cars (as Jay Leno rightly says). You are a lucky girl. I find that more than the BelAir (which is beautiful too) but the lines on this Ford are so perfect. Plus the two tone pain combination on this car is beyond words.

They never show the instrument cluster at night, it is beautifully done. All the gauges, heater controls and radio are backlit. The black bezels around the lights, lighter, wipers and ignition are backlit as well, the white lettering lights up.

The 1956 and 1957 Ford Fairlane were the best looking cars ever with the best V8 engines. I was only 13 when this car came out and didnt really discover them until I was17 and ready to buy my first car. By the time I could afford one I was 19 and the cars I loved and wanted were used.the group pf guys I hung with all bought similar cars and helped each other make them road worthy again. I took my drivers test on my cousins 56 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria with the sliding sun roof. My first car was a 57 Ford Custom 500 with the small block V8 and three on the column. I still have very fond memories of that car

My intention for the videos is to allow "ordinary" people who love cars an opportunity to speak about their car and why that car means so much to them. I completely agree with you. I recall the first time I saw this car at a car show. I was more or less speechless. The beautiful lines, and the way the car has true presence is just so hard to explain until you see her. This particular colour combination is also just gorgeous.

Quick tip. First off thanks for posting this video. Back to the tip. When filming car or trucks please take a few moments to give us the opportunity to view the whole car from 20 ft or so side views so we can take in the whole car and view stance. Thanks.

Identical with my first car in Los Angeles. Didn’t file the change of ownership when I sold it, but was reminded by the detective who showed up and asked my Dad if I would rob a store. Not sure if they caught the robber.

Heaven, lol what a great story. Hey can you imagine if you had used the Fairlane to Rob the bank, it would be the exact opposite of using a car that “blends in and easily recognizable “ I also wanted to take a moment to personally thank for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. As you may have seen in my videos that my intention is to showcase not only the beautiful car and really give the owner of the car (the caretaker as Jay Leno rightly says) the opportunity to share their story, love and passion for their car. The padded dash and sun visors were optional. Many disintegrated and the metal panel was painted. Chrome strips anchored the pad, this car does not have them so likely it did not come from the factory with them.
