There are restomods and testomods but this is one of the nicest ones I've seen in ages.

I had a '73, it was Orange in color. Mom / Grandma got it for my HS graduation in 1979. It was 5 yrs old but back then, seemed like it was a used car whereas now a 5 yr old car seems like new almost being used... It was a slow 4 banger automatic . Sis, got a 73 too, 6 cylinder Brazilian built standard and was screamer!!! :)

It is nice to see a Normal size Caddy that doesn't have the "Cheap Seats"... I had an 86 FWB, and it was and still is my Favorite Cadillac. It was underpowered with an Asthmatic 5 liter. 1st thing I did when I bought the Car, before it left the Dealers Lot, removed all 4 Stink Stick Lighters, took them to the Parts Counter, and asked if I could exchange them for 4 jugs of Washer Fluid

I had a Blue one in High School I loved that car.

I bought a blue 6 cyc in 1972. I loved the car and how easy it was to maintain. I remember having to remove the radiator and just walking it down the street to be repaired. Had it back in the car in 2 hrs. Used to take it to the race at Watkins Glen for the US grand prix each year and slept in it....great memories....

Sounds strange to my ears to hear “Ford Capri.” I remember this car being sold by Mercury dealers and it was known in Canada as the Mercury Capri. Stranger too is this one has Ontario plates.

I bought a 1971 Capri new..Ordered it in BRG but never came through so had to take one in medium blue with the 2000cc SOHC engine. Absolutely loved the car! Drove it 180,000 miles. Rust finally got the subframe but the engine ran perfectly and NEVER used oil. Lost my virginity in it in southern Ohio..

I had a '74 back in the early 80's and it was a fun car to drive, even with the 4cyl.

I think a chrome bumper like the bumper on the car u are sitting on would look good on a SSR

I had a 72...I wouldn't call it beautiful like this one, lol. It had a 1.6 Kent in it originally, with the optional rear gear 3.45, "GT" model. I stuck a drivetrain from a 76, 2.8 V6, manual trans. Chucked a Holley 500 2bbl carb and headers. Zippy enough for the day.

I had such a big crush on MJF as a teenager and still do 🥰 This is a wonderful video of a car that all of us would love to own even with its quirkiness, it is by far one of the most recognizable cars on the planet and always will be even if we GO BACK TO THE FUTURE!

I had a '72 with the 2-liter 4-cylinder and a 4-speed; it was brown with an off-white interior. Mine had the desirable Decor Group, and I installed the exact same Shelby wheels that the video car is wearing. My car was good-looking; had an incredibly solid body; handled really well; and after 71,000 miles, it still had the original brakes and clutch (which were working perfectly). It was, however, the absolute worst car I've ever owned. The car ate U-joints and MacPherson struts like crazy (and to replace the U-joints, you had to replace the entire driveshaft); it also had carb problems that could never be fixed, and it smoked like a chimney. I think it's completely awesome that someone has really enjoyed their Capri (particularly for 50+ years!), but mine was as despicable and as forgettable as a car can get...
