I gotta say I’ve been watching your content for a couple months now, n I really love your content n wat you do for the hobby, I’m 46 I was a massive collector as a kid in the 80’s thru early 2000’s had 10’s of thousands of cards n knew the hobby inside out then I got mixed up in drugs n some bad stuff ended up losing my entire collection as a result of my addiction, been clean now for 15 yrs n about 5-6 yrs ago rediscovered the hobby n have been slowly collecting n trying to rebuild my original collection, still chasing the Mario Lemieux RC which was the hardest card I ever parted with, but I really appreciate guys like you Jabs & Run Good u guys get the hobby n make me excited about collecting again… thank you 🙏 I really appreciate the content!!!

That’s vendor pricing, after buying at 80% they sell to the customers at 90-100% MV. Majority of Vendors would be buying collections outside the show for less than 80% or actually pull and grade the cards themselves then sell to their buddies at the show to help each other out. Hope that helps
80 mv is the deal hes able to get becuz hes a dealer. the delta is his profit. feels like the 80% mv should be the actual but thats just how it goes. when ur a dealer u have more potential purchasing power than the avg customer. just how it goes. all these numbers way too inflated and 99% of the market seems to be cards changing hands between dealers
my biggest problem is the whole 'comp' system. None of those sales you watched in the video are actually part of a new comp number, they only seems to pull from sales on ebay and there are a lot of idiots buying and selling on ebay. Not sure how to fix the system but there really needs to be a better way to do this
RIP Johnny and his brother. Both of them had young children and pregnant wives. Johnny Gs dad was my younger son’s hockey trainer and coach. So I met him a bunch of times when Johnny came back during the offseason and he always had time for the kids and helped his dad with the training. I grew up in south jersey right near where they grew up. What a shame. If there is a god that made this happen that isn’t a god I believe in. another dope video brother. Keep up the great work.
I recently found my old basketball cards and have a topps steph curry rookie card. How much is this card worth? And is it worth selling or should I hold onto it?
