I agree with that. Standard figures are staring to see that. Swamp Thing had an extra hand. I can’t think of any others that had extra hands or heads though.
Hoping For that Starfire isa 80s or new 52 version the mattel already did rebirth which still a figure that holds up well . though a new rebirth one would also be fine . It would be sick if mcfarlane made black canary with a motor cycle since mcfarlane would probably knock that out of the park.
I have no idea what to expect from these latest leaks, but the only one I’ll probably end up actually buying is Starfire. I’m okay, with Bronze Age, New 52, Rebirth, or Contemporary, but I’m going to guess Rebirth to fit in with the rest of the Titans. I’m very disappointed that the JLA Task Force is rumored to be at the $40 price point. Yes, I bought the COIE bundle because Perez era DC is my jam, but I have no interest in making it a habit. The rest is wait and see. My new mantra with Hasbro and McFarlane going forward is “Must love the character, must love the version of the character, and must love the figure.”
Yeah, we were thinking Todd could get away with the Crisis bundle because of how iconic the series is that it's based on. Outside of instances like that, we're not sure how long he can keep the $40 price point going. With so many releases, it makes sense to narrow your focus, even as a Strong Collector.
I like to buy the broken figures and fix/customize from eBay just as a relaxing pass time, it’s fun to put the figures into the gift bin at the church down the street. Some came out very good.

Yeah, we were just going off the leak list which indicated it was BvS. Not familiar with that specific look but we are hoping for a single release of classic Doomsday.

I will pass on the $40 figures, Doomsday not sure about it depends on the look. And I have both the mega figure Bane and Batman Knightfall and unless there is a huge change to those figures I won't pick that up. And I will absolutely get Starfire for sure.
Yeah when the regular figures start costing as much as the mega figures, something isn't adding up. Dakota has said if Todd makes the 2 pack Doomsday a single release he might pick that up but he's not a fan of the movie look.

We saw that "leak" as well but I'm pretty sure that was from a spoof account. We've gotten got by those jokes once and probably will again in the future as well.
There's quite a few I want but if they go the $40 route then they'll be a pass. I hope they don't, I've really liked collecting the DC line so far. I also hope they don't keep putting baf figures in waves that have characters we already have multiple figures of. Like with Plastic Man, I want him but I don't want a 22nd Batman, 12th Superman and 6th Flash to get him. Mcfarlane is picking up several bad habits from marvel legends.
It seems like the only ones possibly at that $40 mark will be the baf figures. Collector editions will still probably be at $30 and normal retail figures at the standard price. Maybe they would do a gold label Plastic Man but yeah you're going to have to get pretty much all repeat figures to get this baf.
We are supposed to be getting a new 52 Cyborg superman and Superman recovery suit figures 2 pack this year I wondered if we will get them in February somehow?
I can deal with a one seat Tumbler in Mcfarlane's weird 1/10 scale (1/12 but cockpit ls designed for 7 inch figures). The 89 Batmobile was a deal breaker unless you mod or purchased the CAG canopy and 3rd party 2 seater cockpit. @zenquantum1246 2:28
I purchased all the Arkham games versions of the Mcfarlane figures. Since then I really have not been a fan of this toy company. Not gonna do a whole hate tirade. Just not something I’m interested in. I do however like the super powers line. If I want the main superheroes I’ll shell out some extra cash for the mafex versions. Good video.
we're in about the same boat as you. we've gotten DC Multiverse but we're going to be cutting that down to almost 0 this year. Dakota goes more Mafex now for the DC figures he wants. It's still interesting to keep up with the current happenings though for us.
I mean even if we didn't have a channel we'd still be keeping up with what he's making. We'd love to collect more DC but Todd just isn't cutting it. But it does help that Todd puts out so much stuff every year so there's always another video we can make just around the corner haha

Dakota was excited about Steel until he got the Mafex one and now he's sticking with it. It would be cool to see Todd do a classic Doomsday single release.

As McFarlane did Constantine and Swamp Thing the Vertigo Label seems like a legit source for them to make figures from. So I ask myself why they don't make a Sandman or a Preacher.

Dont reissue that bane todd, that figure sucked, sold it after a week. Way too oversized and really limited articulation. We need a newly sculpted, smaller bane.

Some of the figures from the leaks were announced this weekend. Starfire looks pretty great.

I got the 89. Id love that tumbler. I collect all the characters from Gotham city. Joker is my fav to collect i have over 15 from mcfarlane.

I reallly wanted Starfire but considering the price increase for Kid Flash I am probably giving up on building the Teen Titans sadly.

just opened up my black Hush Batman tonight and I'm a big fan. I've seen some complaints around the cape being too big but I like it.

I also rage sold that Bane right after opening it. Kind of wish I held on a little longer for when he hit $75-$100 though.
I did pretty well, paid 45 uk pounds brand new, sold it for 70 pound. I was pretty happy considering it was a huge turd.
I'd say that's a successful flip. That's about what I did with mine although I got it for just a little bit cheaper.
