Why do people say Nigeria is a poor country. IT IS ONE OF THE THREE WEALTHIEST COUNTRIES IN AFRICA, just because some (many) citizens are poor doesn't mean the country is poor. Going by your metric the US is also a poor country - despite allegedly being the richest in the world - , and they have a poverty rate of 20% to Nigeria's 40%, South Africa's 55.5% and Egypt's 29.7% (Nigeria, South Africa and Egypt are the richest countries in Africa). In comparison Ukraine has a poverty rate of 1.6%, Ireland 14%, Iraq 18.9'%, Morocco 4.8%, Jamaica 19.9%, Australia 12.6%. and Russia 20%. And they DIDN'T pretend to be representing the royals, the President knew they weren't, the embassy made it very clear that they weren't and most people were well aware that they weren't either. They HOPED people would think they were but all they really did was represent their own country - USA - and that doesn't exactly have a good reputation in many parts of Africa for variety of reasons, including the infamous ''sh1thole countries'' claim.

One of the most truly shocking things H did was acting jovial to a young man who had lost a leg, he asked if he had a name for the prosthetic leg and was laughing. He’s disgusting. The poor young man looked so upset.

Its absolutely SCANDALOUS that the Nigerian president allowed his chief of defense staff, Christopher Musa to invite Whinge and Cringe to Nigeria and waste a colossal amount of (potentially foreign aid?), money on Whinge and Cringe's ego's. It is equally appalling that Cringe inspected the Nigerian Military - he would have known he had ABSOLUTELY NO royal authority or right to do that being a private citizen and Nigeria was clearly told Whinge and Cringe DO NOT represent the British monarchy in any capacity at all. Nigeria's foreign aid assistance needs to be recalculated and substantially decreased asap!
