Loved this format.
I like it when Tom recommends a game, but I LOVE it when Tom rips into bad games.
The image was for Evolution New World, but Evolution Another World is the one with fantasy animals.

Very impressive! I have to admit I scratch my head a little at "I think this game is seriously broken! 5 out of 10" (shouldn't that be a "1"?)
Sometimes "broken" can just mean unbalanced, which can still be fun at times.
As I understood, there are two versions in that box - one is fine and one is broken.
Don't Cross Me - worst rules I've ever read in any game... 4/10

My kids and I had a blast with cracklist. It's a party game and the success of that game really depends of what you're seeking for and the people around the table.
My kids are teenagers and we played cracklist 50 times. The best "find a flower starting with a B" kind of game. Very quick and engaging.
I think you are wrong about Courtisans, there is some strategy as to where you play cards.

Cool format! I really don't get why the lowest score is on Courtisans, found it easy to learn, pretty clever, fun and nice looking, really looking forward to play again! Maybe it's not for everyone (and actually I think it could be), but 4/10...
I liked it more than Vale of Eternity which got 8s and 9s from you guys, while for me you've seen the whole game in 1 or 2 plays.

"Topo" means mole (Talpidae) in Spanish. Judging from the box art it seems like they're doing a pun with the animal's name
My gaming buddies and I enjoyed playing through Unboxed. It almost felt like the gaming exam we had be unknowingly been training for for years. That said, Tom is right about the games being boring. I would argue that’s not the point of the experience.
I enjoyed Holly Oak personally.
I was excited for Biohack and even then it exceeded my expectations, I played it so many times the weekend I got it and I’m forcing myself to give some other games a chance for a bit 😅

Great video. Interesting as I would say that 20 Strong is much better than Kinfire Delve.
I know it's work, but consider having cards appear for games with longer reviews. This will remove the friction and increase the watchtime.
There is already a Qwirkle Card game which it would seem is better than that wannabe.
I'd rather play "Aqualin" with the Qwirkle tiles.
The hats and suspenders are just unique personality. But no way I can watch you for fifteen minutes with those glasses on???
Maybe I can turn my back and just listen or maybe put paper over that side of the screen??
Imagine you go through the time abd and cost to send DT a review copy snd and Tom gives it 10 seconds
That's 10 seconds x 6100 people in the first 8 hours the video is up. Doesn't necessarily seem like a bad investment for just the production cost of 1 copy of the game. Especially if anything he said prompts some number of people to look into the game further.
Also, this isn't the only review I do on these games. We do long form reviews on many of them, and they often get into short roundups. We review TONS of games.
