World Maritime Day 2020: Solve crew change

On this World Maritime Day 2020, we join IMO’s renewed appeal to governments: Enable safe crew changes - now. Seafarers have gone above and beyond throughout the pandemic, providing safe supply of vital goods, foods and medicines that are critical for response and recovery. For safety and health, our colleagues on board deserve to be relieved and come home to their families when their shift ends.
On board and ashore, we are happy for each successful crew change. Through route deviations, meticulous logistics and our seafarers’ patience, we make steady progress - but we still meet obstacles every day. The global crew change challenge is complex, and we welcome cooperation across industries, organizations and governments to solve this unprecedented crisis. #WorldMaritimeDay
