  • Come with me on this 9 hour journey from New York Penn Station to Niagara Falls! It was a great opportunity to see the fall colors across New York State.
If I were to do it again, here's what I would do differently:
🧡 Sit on the left side of the train! : The train follows the Hudson River for a long time and they definitely had the better views on that side of the train.
💙 Book an earlier train: I was traveling in from Connecticut that morning so I booked a 1:20pm train, but it got dark around 5:30-6, so most of my journey it was dark outside and I didn't get to see as much.
⏳ In this video I cover:
0:00 My Plan for the Trip
0:25 Penn Station & Boarding the Train
    0:47 Cost of the Journey
1:30 What You Can See Along the Way
1:50 What is the Wifi Like on Amtrak
2:00 Amtrak Food Car & Food Options
2:15 What stops the Empire Line Takes
2:30 Comfort Level on the Amtrak
3:11 Arriving at Niagara Falls Station

I think business class also just has use of the cafe car, but I’m not sure.

Was snacks on the Amtrak free? If not, what was the price range?

No, they are for purchase. Different lines have different prices, but they are all on the amtrak website: www.amtrak.com/cafe-car

No question. Just a comment. I find it’s rude to put your feet on the seats.
