Aww the fact that everyone remembered all of the lyrics and started singing the background vocals for him without even being asked makes me feel so warm and happy.
that one "i love you" coming from the crowd after ryan sang "northern downpour sends its love" is SO REAL... somebody did their thorough research on northern downpour live performances and it shhoowwwss lololol
His voice sounds so different , and a bit rougher, but his slight vibrato at the end of words makes me love his new sound so much, its so original and warm feeling.
Anybody else realize that everyone sang "I know the world's a broken bone so melt your headaches call it home" because I remember reading or hearing something where Brendon said that Ryan told him to pay attention to that line or something like that
@@hellen5758 I think it's brilliant that Ryan doesn't look back and see these memories and end up being sad. He enjoyed being in panic, at least for the beginning, and he should remember it the way it was - a happy time in his life, even if he might miss Brendon and Spencer, that's a seperate thing.
It’s beautiful then and now as my nostalgia makes me watch every live recording and my lovely bf (is forced) to watch it and loves it too bc that why we together lol
The fact Brendon pretends pretty odd doesn’t exist is just sad. We love Ryan, and panic’s lyrics have NEVER recovered from him leaving. Like yeah Brendon has great vocals but Ryan was the lyrical genius and we all know it. Northern Downpour will always be my favorite song, forever. So beautiful. Thank you to Ryan for resurrecting it. 💖💖
that is so subjective^^ and B doesn't pretend it doesn't exist, he played Nine in the Afternoon during the PFTW tour. Why are people so obsessed with this? lol Also, if you wanna go down that road, if Panic! suffered so much from him leaving why is Brendon hugely successful and nonbody knows who Ryan Ross is?
Brendon Urie is a great performer but it's clear that the songriting talent was mostly Ryan. To go from this to "High Hopes" is just such a downgrade... I get that some people dig the poppier new sound, but it sounds like a completely different band.
This is the comment I've been searching for. In my opinion, Panic¡'s been dead since Ryan left; I mean, I still kinda liked Vices and Virtues and Too weird to live, too rare to die, but after those last two, Brendon's been doing some pretty shitty gay-pop-mainstream stuff that totally fu*ked up the band signature sound. I know that bands are supposed to grow and mature, but Brend at The Disco is just not Panic¡.
Ryan’s song writing is on a whole other level to Brendon’s. And it’s just so sad that Ryan really only had 2 (3 if you count Fever, but I don’t) to prove his compositional and lyrical genius to the world. He could’ve became one of the greats.
Girl/boy, what do you mean.you don't count A Fever? Ryan wrote it practically alone. Well, actually alone, if I recall correctly. AFYCSO is a lyrical masterpiece that makes me shiver to today
@@anavitoriavaloisgoncalves3187 I’m glad you feel that way. I agree that the lyrics are amazing but the compositions don’t stand up to pretty.odd in exception of Build God. Song writing isn’t just lyrics it’s composition as well and Pretty. Odd.’s compositions are far superior to AFYCSO imo. And Ryan wrote every track . By two, I mean albums as well if you wanted to clarify, I think there are a lot of moments in Fever where the compositions are very juvenile and still forming. But there are some greats there. But from the beginning Ryan has been a poet. Also if you haven’t, please check out The Young Veins, Ryan’s band after Panic
@@Deadralord777 I've known Young Veins by heart so far as well. I think AFYCSO shined way more live than it did in the studio. The music was more fluid and had more passion, but his lyrics were just astonishing. Pretty.Odd.'s lyrics (let's talk about lyrics here) are just as amazing, but I think AFYCSO have a pure Ryan thing no other has. It was his solo work. But I have to agree that musically Pretty.Odd. outshines AFYCSO, as the songs were kinda childish as you said. But thank you for bringing Build God, which is, to this day, my favorite Panic! song
Brendon may have been Panic's singer, but Ryan was the songwriter. All the lyrics on Fever/Pretty Odd and 95% of the music was Ryan. Panic! never sounded the same after he left.
I'm tearing up so much right now 😭 Ryan deserved better, his lyrics would conquer the world had he had the chance to keep writing on panic. The fact that 10 years later everybody is singing with him and even doing the back vocals and screaming "I love you" at the same time as he did in Live in Chicago is proof that he truly touches people with his lyrics. He is an insanely talented songwriter. I became a P! fan long after he left, and the one thing people kept crying about online was this song. It stayed with me ever since the first listen. I still don't quite understand what came between him and Brendon, but even without their personal sentiments this song is just breathtaking. I'm sad for how things ended up for P!, for how even Brendon seemed done with it and how people clapped and cheered when he announced it was coming to an end. It seems like the fanbase kind of shattered with every leaving member, but from what I've read it mostly feels like no one, not even the band, ever recovered from Ryan's parting. I wish he were a little less low-key, it'd be beautiful to read/hear what he's been writing now, if he still does. If he wrote a poetry book I would probably buy the shit out of it
