People often say it is a garbage lens but i beg to differ and as you can see you take great pictures with it :) I have the a7iii with the 50mm and a tamron 28-75, just started out. Lovely work. Thanks for showing some great evidence that it is possible to get killer shots with a 50mm out in the field . I love street photography and I love shooting with my 50mm lens, but I need to train myself to look for what is possible with that 'sometimes closer than you'd like' focal length. Also inspiring to see some fast decision making for some stealthy shots. I find I used to be much more brave shooting in public. That's it, I'm going to get out there! Cheers

Been watching your videos for a few weeks now. And hopefully I've learned a lot. Only just venturing into Street photography after may years off. I bought the samyang f1.4 85mm and all I can say is wow or as you kids say it's sick lol. Just spent the day in London first time out with it can't wait to use the #tag 👍👍👍👍

Those last panning shots. How did you adapt so fast ? Just changed shutterspeed fast, and thats it ? And to what ? Any speed you know works almost everytime for panning ?
I’d say 1/30th works for most shots gives good enough blur
Anything between 1/10 - 1/40 will Fife consistent results change f stop and iso accordingly 🙏

Maybe you could consider to do one food photography POV? You have plenty of street and car photography in the channel. You are having coffee every time you go out and it could be a shot or two of your lunch or something each day and it will make up 8mins video out of it. Just a suggestion:) thank you
I would recommend getting the canon 50mm 1.8 and a cheap adapter. It is way sharper and costs the same.

Just ordered a Samyang 45mm 1.8 last night from B&H on sale for $279. I have a 25mm 1.7 prime for my Panasonic G9 and wanted to have a prime in approximately the same focal length for my full frame Sony A7riiia.

What settings do you use that let you focus everything in the picture? I can usually only get one thing in focus even when I bump up the aperture and I can't figure out how to focus everything

Just wanted to let you know that these automatic translated titles don't make any sense in Dutch. I think 99% of the Dutch viewers prefer English titles :)

Good to know, but glad it works. The thing is I’m missing a massive portion of audience by not doing it.
If you have a German or Dutch photographer who is searching for the first time I’d say they’re more likely to click on a title in their native language.
It needs some refining but it has potential.
Basically I don’t want to limit my reach to only those who speak English. As a lot of what I do in these videos can be visually understood.

Lol the driver clearly not paying attention on the road. If there’s zebra, slow down whether there are people or not. That’s what the yellow flashing light for.
Samyang 50mm or Sony 50mm ?
Do you exclusively take photos in portrait orientation? You could have got a shot of that car if you rotated to landscape
The cars back end would of been cropped slightly. I did check, i mostly shoot portrait because of where my output is.
