Thanks for providing me with Information on how becks are made in your village .In Jamaica most of our houses are built using blocks made from cement .
Very smart, i'am a builder and i i'am very much empressed. I lived in Tanzania for some years and but did not learn the process. Asante Sana my dada for what you precented, it's vital skills and it's a great need of such skills.
Very interesting on the process of brick making start to finish. It reminds me of Genesis in the Bible where the Israelites made bricks. Those guys are a real asset to you village. God bless
The bricks in Genesis were mud bricks with straws (they were supposed to make bricks without straw as a punishment if I recall correctly). This is baked bricks which are way stronger and waterproof.
Thank for this video. Learning about ancient African building technology brought me here. Mud brick and other composite brick technology have been PERFECTED in on the African continent for thousands of years. The benefits of using mud brick in particular is that it deflects the Sun and creates cooler interiors in structures built from it. Concrete doesn't do that.
I have never seen the process of making the bricks but I have seen the process of burning the bricks on another channel.... Absolutely fascinating... Don't have that here in the Caribbean Islands of St Vincent and the Grenadines 🇻🇨 Congratulations guys..very hard working 💪
Its hard work processing it from top to finish ,Africa got so many talents but yet they say we cannot make any thing besides we are the people of the bible
Very interesting video. Just wondering how long does a brick house last versus a mud house.? Also, I don't know what it means to ferment the soil but does the soil have any cement added to it?
Malika you jumped one process or they didn't tell you. Before fire is lit to burn the bricks a sacrifice is made by slaughtering a hen, goat or sheep. The head of a slaughtered animal is thrown inside through one of those openings(mouth) so that it's burnt to appease gods . Without doing so the bricks won't turn red.
By the way waah those guys work hard nakumbuka nikiwa high school one of the heavy punishments ilikua kutengeneza brick moja weh never again, good job mama endelea kazi mzuri💕
@@MalikaKenya ok. But please advice them to be adding little sment because sment can hold more than clay. I know clay is very good as well but adding little sment to it will make that bricks stronger and good quality than before and it won't breaks because I you were saying that when they added 50 bricks extra because some bricks used to breaks. They May likes this my suggestion if you can tell them and let them know that their bricks will not breaks again if they can be adding little sment.
Thanks for watching!!!

Thank you
Just goes to show there is always a way
True
Their bricks is not strong enough, they need to add more sment to make it stronger because if is strong, none of them will break...
Okay, but they don't add cement while making the bricks just water and clay

Wood ash, instead of cement >>>
They probably only can use what they can afford or basically what only material they can get as well
