But read & see why you should wait on this action. Memphis the talking Husky stalks and serenades his son (SWEET & CUTE, he means no harm) at a little bit of distance, (he must know mama don't want him in the crate, not that I would have let him) but it's really cute & funny to watch how he does this, HOWEVER, I don't recommend the action of letting a father dog meet his new pup or pups before 3.5-4 weeks of age, even though I didn't put them face to face. Mamas are very protective of their puppies while this young. I was thinking of him as more like a human dad than a dog dad, but I think many people could make that mistake, although again, he showed no signs of any harm. Right now should be all about mom & baby pups. He got slightly rowdy. Think he wanted to get closer, but Nikkita is his squeeze, but he didn't try to get to the pup directly, which was smart of him. He did stalk though, lol.
Here singleton Yoda is only 3 days old, and I thought that it would be a good thing for curious Memphis to be near his son a bit, especially without him having any littermates to be around, as a singleton puppy, but I'm a 1st timer here, and we figured out, through reading, etc. that it can really stress mom out, which can be bad for baby, so best to wait, as they are NOT human beings, and to what extent they THINK, like that is my puppy, etc. etc. we may never know, but they might not realize that at all, quite sadly but quite likely.
Memphis couldn't stop talking and howling to make his presense known. In hindsight I feel bad for Nikkita, even though she handled his presence and his dog mouth quite well compared to how she could have. She accepted us around her new Husky pup Yoda from day 1. She's a very good dog, but some might even attack the father or the father can potentially hurt the pup, so again, best to wait until mom loosens up the reigns, starts to withdraw slightly to other corners of the house and stays outside more, so you know she is more willing to accept other dogs around her babies. Still supervision is always a must, as animal behavior can still be unpredictable. At 5 + weeks now, they both are a part of Yoda's play time and discipline time. It's so cute to watch and I tape it all, so stay tuned on this journey!!!
XOXO

when the dog went away...and then you see him sneeking up from the back of the cage 😂
"Say I love you!", " grrrrrrr" " Yep, that's it! You're gonna be a smart dog one day!"
When my dog had pups the Daddy was pacing up and down the hall like a nervous Dad. After a few days she let him see him and lick them. So sweet
"I just wanna see my kid" lol
Being a dad is tough
I didn't see the puppy until the end.. Thought the mother was the puppy so I was thinking "God damn these dogs grow super fast"
Chris A 😂😂😂
Aww! He's a talker! I have never heard a dog be so vocal!
He like; let me see my son WOMAN!
She only had 1 pup?
My 2 Labradors had 2 separate litters and for both the male was outside crying to be let in and my girl was crying for him. finally when he was let in they were both quiet and calm and he even helped her clean the pups. i guess it just depends on the dogs
how his baby mama won't let him see the baby lol this is too human
He was like, "let me see my kid, woman" ! LOL. Is there a video of him finally meeting him ? I would like to see the reaction ! :-)
Last spring we had a 8 pup husky nest. I had to tie the dad up on the other side of the room because he was losing his mind and he couldn't go outside because he was screaming to much, keeping our neighbors awake. So after some pups were born, i took one of them in secret and took it to the dad. He was so careful, calmed down immediately and started liking the pup (that i protected with my hands). The first few days were difficult, because dad wanted to play with mom, and see his kids, but the mother was protective. When the mom finally went outside, she would allow him to look, but only if i was there to protect them. I guess she trusted me, or trusted the dad? idk. She was grumpy, but didn't care much. It probably depends on the trust the dogs have in you and each other.
lol I like the groning noises he makes
I want me a husky
I imagine the mom and dad huskies are arguing and the dad isn't allowed in the house like;
dog dad- "honey, let me in-"
mom dog- "NO!"
he literally sounds like Chewbacca lmao love them all
What a beautiful Husky family:)
Thank you
This is just too sweet he wants to meet his babies
Kitta is a very good mommy, u can tell! Not all mama dogs except Singleton's, so she is incredible, can't wait to watch them grow together! :)
love this dogs eyes super cute.
I feel these people are so special with dogs that the Huskies actually telepathically understand her FULLY!
I know a lot about dogs but never about new moms, the dad's, and all this stuff, thank you for the info, I learned a bunch of new stuff
he's like "leme see my babies womann!" haha so cute (:
Your voice makes me happy.
Aww... that's just adorable!
Hm... thats weird... I don't know if it was because I was in my dogs life pretty much all my life, because I was there at childbirth, or because my dog really likes me, but my mother dog didn't mind me being near her (sometimes would lay half in the Kennel and she would lay down and show me the pups like "Look at what I made! I do good!").
Then again, I think the dad only peeked in once and then ran away... I think that might be why, lmao.
I'm a husky momma. I love that you call Nikkita "baby girl", that's what I call my girl. Memphis is great. So curious and chatty. Thank you for sharing a bit of your family!
By the way, I just fell in love wth Memphis.
sooo cute..we went through this also...the mommy hated the dad at one point ..she was so overprotective of the babies that she wouldnt want to leave her bed to eat so we would hand feed her...theyre such good momies...congratz
Beautiful furbabies!!
This is too cute. my heart 😭😭😭😭
they do not let the fathers around the babies because the scent that the babies have is a bit different than it should be normally the father can kill the babies for no reason with out warning a lot of times not even on purpose the mothers know this so they become over protective over their young especially right after the birth they just wait until the baby is a bit more recognizable then allow the dad to come by the dad doesn't know this dog even if he is the father he doesn't know that at first so some dads react by attacking the young or trying to play with them sometimes and accidentally crushing them it can become very hostile
As I said before dogs have been around possibly just as long as humans have a lot of people don't even know what the true purpose of the breeds they own are.. Hence you end up with unhappy breeds under utilized breeds
Ryan Leslie so you mean this behavior only with certain different breeds of dogs?
he wants to see his baby so bad 😂
WOW that mama dog is absolutely stunning! They all are but she is especially beautiful.

How adorable
Baby mama drama haha. Adorable pups!
you are a very good owner!
I believe it varies between dogs, in some cases mothers will let fathers near puppies, but most won't. Especially if parents are less experienced with litters, it's quite common around first time mothers to be either protective or uncertain. However, like most animals that live in family groups, prides or packs, mothers tend to have their young hidden away until they are strong enough to rejoin the group. There are several reasons to this as the group could contain youngsters which can play too roughly with newborns or they can be exposed to dangers such as predators or certain environmental threats.
Eventually young can reunite with their fathers and siblings, however in an enclosed domesticated environment, especially if the father is a first timer, it's best to do this on neutral ground and to be supervised.
This is cute but very interesting
Gorgeous dogs
I love Huskies they're very vocal and beautiful dogs. the lady sounds Italian. LOL
my family bread labs and the father was always gentle with his puppies even right after they are born and their mother was never aggressive toward him.
This is too cute!
Awesome! God bless! Beautiful!
You have such beautiful huskies!
My male husky was Definately the same when she gave birth to her second litter he wanted to see the babies as soon as they were born.
Yes, in house the males are going to be very nosey like it or not. I just never did this b4, as we are not breeders, so we learned as we went along on this one, with happy results. Dad wants to be there, but not now. It ticks mama off, LOL. I read after that 1 meeting and it said in online reading to be careful until 3+ weeks and so I was, but we are in a house with kids.. no crazy thing that paths did cross! They are HIGHL;Y curious. maybe jealous too, but who knows?? Thanks 4 writing!
for the first time! cute!
He's beautiful
never had this problem then too our Rottweilers were always together. Only one time I remember mom growling at Dad and it was over her cleaning pups and not dad. It's a trial and error actually depending on socializing and all that, but mom had her first pup in my bed and I did not even know it until baby yelped I woke up and there was the first of 11 pups. Dad was at the foot looking at me like I didn't do it she did like oh wow so put pup in kiddie pool and she went in with him laying on the outside of the pool.
I did have problems with company though, neither mom nor dad wanted anyone near babies. but that's the norm. so I just left it as me my kids and those that my dogs had been raised around.
2:48 LOl ! *spy music comes on* Well he's not the best spy she's lookin right at him lol 😂

Precious!
I don't know how I got on this video but I really enjoyed it those dogs are so beautiful and you guys are such good parents to the dogs I just love people like you kudos
My parents use to breed shepards and Newfys. I can tell you Newfys will usually allow the males to interact with the babies around the 6 week mark, German Shepards it's usually around the 7-8th week. I think it depends on the breed, and individual mother. My parents use a mud room that attached to the kitchen, and lead out the back door. One time when the daddy of one of the litters pushed through the gate while the mommy's were in the back yard taking care of there business, didn't turn out good for daddy. One of the moms, came back in to find daddy licking a 4 week old pup. She howled and the other two mommy's came running. The daddy ended up at the cats for a chipped ear and 7 stiches on his belly, near the family jewels. So ya, it's best for mommy to decide when the sight daddy's can see the pups.
aren't they so smart I luv my soffie

Please watch the video how we became the house of huskies and it will explain it..
Daisy Marie I think so
Please watch our video how we became the house of huskies, this will explain it.
+TWINPOSSIBLE House of HUSKIES um.. that doesn't realy explain anything but a fixed dog had a pup.. I don't know much about dogs and I don't even know wat a singleton is.. and that video doesn't explain it at all.. it just shows 2 dogs growing up and having a kid after one got fix.. that doesn't realy help much.. u could have at least explained wat a singleton is or wat it's called when a dog only has 1, and im guessing it's the same thing, but it would have helped, I only watched the video to find out wat singleton even means but still don't realy know..
oneA singleton is just one pup and not a litter or many pups. Nikita only had one pup after Memphis was neutered.
Amaxing
that was too cute 😍😍😍
Amazing how cute they are ;D
i was confused for like 10 min, thinking which is the father and which is the mother
Mephis sounds like a machine at 7:00 😂
My dog sin was a very protective mother, especially around her first litter. I kind of a stupid child at the time and I would go and pet her and even sometimes pet her puppies while sin laid on my lap. but when it came to anyone getting near her dog shelter she snarl and bark. I miss her quite.
R.I.P Sin 2009-20012
AWWWW SO CUTE😘
Gorgeous dogs 🐶
I visited the kennel where I had boarded my Norwegian Elkhound and he breeder invited me to handle each of five one-day-old puppies in her new litter, and to put each down next to momma. I now have a pup from that litter and he's about the most devoted dog I've ever had.
6:57 lol
I love your accent though lol
