You should have visited the pigeon island. You could see beatiful fishes , baby sharks and many more marine species. It is a beautiful place

Good that you are visiting these underdeveloped and ignored reigns of the country. when you are on your own you can avoid all these SCAMMERS with Tuk Tuk and hotels, guides and All these shops that you get lured into for sake of commissions that the guides have to earn without doing anything. SL specially in the South and Central province is spoiled by easy money. There is a general mindset is there " How can I get something out of this guy without doing much"😀😁😛😁

Stop showing me fucking palm fringed beaches in my feed, I've lived on a tropical island for 20 years, unable to remember the last time I went to the beach as am bored sick of it. Give me a mountain/lake view any day. At least the landscape constantly changes. Unlike the boring as fuck ocean.
Jen, your body looks so fit. ❤ I was really sick last year. I brought an unwanted 'souvenir' from Thailand last year January. My whole 2018 I was really sick from a bacteria and a virus. Last January I was in treatment and now I am recuperating. I am skinny but not fit like before. Now I am going to physical therapy to work on my physical condition.
Hubz and I have Sri Lanka on our list for Dec. ❤

After seeing this I came to Trincomalee and I can honestly tell you, skip it. I am currently here for two days and the beach is littered with garbage and strays everywhere. Sad to see what seems to be a beautiful beach destroyed by the locals. I would skip it believe me.
Glad you did not try to nail down transport charges, $1.85 for 4 hour ride, wow!! What would it cost in US!! Hard to believe the two countries on the same planet :)
The distances covered aren't the same though. The roads in Sri Lanka are quite terrible and the traffic is chaotic as heck. They really don't care about lanes.

It’s not a hotel on Trincomalee Beach. It is actually an Airforce Cabana. I’ve personally stayed in them but you can only stay in them if you have someone that is high ranking in the Airforce.

Hey guys! Nice videos! you guys still in Sri Lanka? After Kandy - do not miss the Elephant orphanage & the New Zoo in Pinnawala. Colombo & Galle too. tip on beverages, snacks ect - unlike Bali, all Supermarkets have the same MRP(Max Retial Price) for all items so the shops cannot charge what they want. for alcohol use the wine stores found in most towns(usually marked with a large green name board) beer is super cheep lol a bottle is cheaper than a can of red bull!
Wrong info about corals in Pigeon Island. It's true that about 90% of the corals are bleached out, but there's still plenty of live corals there you can see. There's also a marked protected area which you can see from around. This is the best place to see corals and fish in Sri Lanka in my opinion. It looks like you went there off-season (December-April), so they discouraged you from traveling there due to the less clear water, currents and the overall laziness of the park authorities.

So pigeon island has some great snorkeling spots. We were there in March 2017 and saw so great corals and fish and also managed to see a shark. Yes there are some areas that were affected by the tsunami but there was still some Beautiful areas to explore.

@@IntAffair I have watched multiple Sri Lanka videos. It's like Goa. Almost everything fits into Goa, coffee plantation is in the adjoining state Karnataka. Goa cheap too and you can go around the state in a scooter. Just don't come during the monsoon, the sea is brutal then.

Do I need to apply for a drone in Sri Lanka?
Silence Tibet yes you need the approval from civil aviation Authority of srilanka, but if you dont want to, ensure that you fly it without anyone knowing it. If you get caught, they might confiscate it. But i dont give a shit, i fly it secretly.
Nobody care during beach ,Mountain, or country side areas..but be aware when you are at Unesco world heritage sites or Major cities
