We have the same translated text as 1611. There were corrections of printing errors, a font change and standardization of spelling.

Yep, When I was in HS in the fifties, I had a semester of printing. Where we had to watch our ,"Ps & Qs." Tough way to produce a printed page.

Thank you Brother Roy! Eyes on the skies! Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Acts 16:31 "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Colossians 1:14 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" Salvation is obtained by simply believing in Jesus' death (Blood sacrifice), burial and resurrection with all your heart for payment of all your sins, past, present and future.
    Excellent video!

God bless brother Roy! Incidentally, as I'm sure you know, it just 'coincidentally' happened to take the KJV Bible translators 7⃣ years to complete the process(1604-1611). Another of the Psalm 12:6 "purified seven times" instances along with the six others I can't all recall right now! And that 1611 reproduction you have, talk about a REAL 'coffee table Bible', as it could literally be THE TABLE itself! Maranatha

There were also changes in some wording. My 1611 KJV versions use "table chear" in a few places instead of "charity". Also, most people do not know that the definitions of some words changed since that time. "Let" used to mean "to prevent", not "to allow" as it does now. Mind you, I USE the KJV... I grew up on the RSV (given to me by my church as an 8 year old, and it brought me to faith), and have had several versions, generally given to me by my church as a teen (Good News, Living as examples). I did buy one of the new versions back in the late 80's as that was what the church I went to used, but soon left that church for various reasons and went to the KJV.

Tell them to check the History of English website and see that the KJB is in early modern English which really is biblical English.

Brother can you check me on this? My KJB says For an angel... this is the missing niv verse in John 5....i saw the online 2016 KJB says Because an angel. I wonder if the printed 2016 ed KJB have, Because an angel ,instead of For an angel. Any thoughts on this?

@@oldschoolbiblebaptist Just look up 2016 King James Bible, go to John chapter 5, versus 3 to 4, and you will see the change that they have made. They removed the word withered, and they substituted multitude for crowd. They must be trying to corrupt the king James Bible now. They also changed troubling of the water, to stirring of the water. Instead of saying that the people who went in that pool were made whole of whatever disease they were afflicted by, it just says that they were made well by it. Slowly but surely, the devil our adversary is taking away the sword of the King James Bible, and replacing it with a sword that is blunted, doing it in recent additions.
