Awesome video Max. Cracking spade, looks the biz, not sure about the telescopic shaft, those little pop out pins that keep the shaft in place look a bit light weight. Also not sure about carrying it about all day, could get a bit tiring. I had my little 3ft spade for 6years brilliant little thing and only£10. Great review but not for me. Thanks for sharing my friend.
Hi Steve. Yes I think those are fair points mate, I think you would have to try and keep all the pressure on the spade head and not the handle. I wonder if they have pressure tested them in their RnD? ATB MMMD
i brought this spade for one reason only and that reason was it comes in two half and can fit in a backpack . . its down falls were its rambo edge because i like to clean the soil of the spade with my hands or the toe of my boots but found it abrades them so i removed the teeth with a file as not to subject the metal to any heat took the hooks of the bottle openers they catch everything it comes into contact with . myself i dig one handed and lift with my foot so the weight of this is quite a bit for me . next the first time i used this spade was after a lot of wet weather the midlands clay soil stuck real well to the foot treads and made the spade like dragging a dead weight over a field . so because i dig with one foot i redused the other foot peg down to the curve of the bottle opener my digging foot side i took down half inch and rounded and smoothed the bottle opener to remove the hook and sharp edges now i wont cut me self or my gear it is good for what it is meant to do cut roots. i gotta go be back with the rest soon igtg
