عشق ناکام ہو گیا، پر اثر کلام ہوگیا
اک نظر کرم کی تھی، دل اس کا غلام ہو گیا
وہ جو بے مول تھا گراں تھا
نایاب تھا کسی کی خاطر کیسا
ارزاں نیلام ہو گیا
رقیب کو بھی ہنس کے گلے لگا لیا
کشاپ کا خیال امام ہو گیا
اور آ خری شہر ہے
جیتے جی تو مرزا گم نام ہی رہا
مرا تو یہ شہر اس کے نام ہی رہا
