In the US, a candy that is round mound of carmel (to resemble the "turtle's body") with a pecan (or walnut) placed at each the 4 corners of the carmel mound (to look like the turtle's feet poking out) then the carmel is covered in chocolate (to resemble a turtle's shell), is called a Turtle Candy.. It was called Turtle Candy because once the carmel and nuts where dipped into the chocolate, together it looked like a turtle.

A fact the guests might enjoy hearing: the nut (as other people have pointed out) shown on the box is a pecan. This is a nut native to the southern USA and northern Mexico. They have been enjoyed by the native tribes long before Europeans came here. I would love if the guests could have some pecan pie and just some of the nuts on their own. They are one of my favorite nuts. Every time I visit my mother in Alabama, I have some from the trees that grow in her yard.
