Hi from the Seattle area! I never leave comments on RUclips - but wanted to let you know that even though your channel is small, I love your videos and I'm always looking forward to watching! Keep up the good work 😊
Thank you for your very kind comment, I am really looking forward to working with flowers again this season. Here are some of last years videos, I think there are more so this is just a selection. ruclips.net/video/dupeDUJr47k/видео.htmlsi=oe4xVZzHAcZ138jY ruclips.net/video/w_p2nH-fvlk/видео.htmlsi=6NcAhm4hdyI_xq8A ruclips.net/video/RQhZ2bDGngs/видео.htmlsi=YaPKXE41v5j-xiiM ruclips.net/video/HfoGSdtU4DI/видео.htmlsi=2FBBXUDIg1mMF5NP
Ah the struggle to limit the varieties! Enjoy your content and style. Also taking time to learn what I can grow well. Now I’m also trying more perennials from seed. Still hobby farmer stage for me, dabbling in markets, need to take the leap 😊
I still have not committed to my flower business full time, as I still have a job 20hrs a week and a toddler, so I guess I am still in hoppy stage too. I am planning to make the jump gradually, and eventually give up my other job when my flower income will allow. Wishing you a great growing year🌸😊
I have a small garden in Surrey which is basically a mix of perennials, evergreen shrubs, and a few hydrangeas (all the different forms). Having the patience for annuals though. I've just started getting into cut flowers for the house and my favourite so far for their longevity in the base are dahlias and alstroemerias. Oh and I was impressed by Echinacea Green Twister. As far as greenery is concerned my viburnum tinus seems to last well. Havnt tried Pittosporum or sarcococca yet, but have several varieties of each. Everything is planted for garden worthiness rather than for the vase, but am sure that if I choose the right plants I can have both. But I need to find more late Spring perennials that make good long-lasting cut flowers too. So I am thrilled to find a UK flower grower RUclips channel who will be growing plants available and thriving in the UK climate, and hope to learn from continuing to watch you.
Hello, and welcome. Yes I too use the Viburnum in my cottage garden and Pittosporum is one of my favorite foliage's to work with. Iris are great late spring Perennials, May June is always a bit thin, so I am hoping my new Polly tunnel will help with that. I am going to attempt some alstromerias from seed, but wonder how successful that may be. Thanks for taking the time to comment, It genuinely means a lot to me, it encourages me to keep filming.
Great video thanks...Very informative...Can't decide if I am doing seeds this year as my garden is jam packed with perennials..Can maybe fit in a few pots! 😅
those lavatory flowers are brill, that's what I call the, the only problem is the colour, i have grown the white which is a dawf , not sure if it would work for you
Yes I think it’s the white that I have bought, I will give it a go. My mum had some once that were amazing, but she doesn’t know where she got the seed from. 🌸😊
I always love these sorts of videos, a wish list if you like. Thank you!
I always buy seeds for anything new that have not grown before that I see on these types of videos 🌸
“Because I’ve bought far too many seeds again “ 🤣🤣
I know, I definitely have a problem 🙈🌸
