I am delighted to see your video since I am in Devon too. I am not a flower farmer but an enthusiastic gardener who loves cutting from my allotment patch. Thank you for this very helpful advice.
Welcome along, garden and growing is so good for the soul, extremely addictive though 🌸
Great video.
Thank you 🌸
Perennials add a great deal to my bouquets…..wouldn’t be without them! Love your videos🌺🌺
Thank you Jane. I have applied for a licence to sell plants too this year, so some spare obedient plant may well get potted up for that 🌸
@@stemsbysuzanne good luck with your sales !
Obedient is lovely but very very invasive….and yes divide yearly!
Really interesting thanks 😃
Thanks, happy growing 🌸😊
All lovely perennials! Most I have, but I’ll seed a blue and a purple Veronica this year for my new perennial cut flower farm. I’ll also try to post the progress on my channel 😊
Oh yes it would be great to see that, good luck with your plant babies 🌱
Greetings from 🇦🇺 Thanks especially for the reminder for Gooseneck Loosestrife. As an aside do you have any videos of your cottage garden?
Hello, well yes, the cottage garden is currently undergoing a few changes, more of the lawn is being taken out to give larger borders for more plants 😉 so anyway no recent tours, but here’s one of how it looked before I started digging It all up 😉🌸

I love perennials - so much less work than growing from seed 😅
Definitely, I am really looking forward to trying some new ones. 🌸 the irony is I’m growing them from seed too 🙈
@@stemsbysuzanne same! 😄
i may try to find some obedient plant seeds now, didnt realize they make for fine cut flowers. do you grow anything from the mint family? i lean on those quite heavily and they seem to reliably come back. Mountain mint / Bee Balm / typical Spearmint etc
Oh, yes I have four varieties of mint, Spearmint, pineapple mint, apple mint, and chocolate mint. Bee balm is one I would like to try one day 🙈.
Good luck with the Obedient babies.
🌸 Happy growing.
Great video! I also really appreciate my perennials for cutting. 👏🪴😍
