This was so much fun to film. Hope you found some use for it so you too can sit down and dig into your 3-5 year goals to help you to grow as a person. Here's a little excerpt from my upcoming coloring book release...
Goals are future projections ~ Things that you want to see manifested into your life…thoughts or dreams that you want to see realised lets say in the next 3-5 years. Set goals with intention & purpose.

Write out 3 short term goals (1-3 year plan)
Write out 3 long term goals (3-5 year plan)
Refine those goals so you can have a deeper understanding of them as a whole and their purpose they will serve:
- What excites you the most about each goal?
- Why do you want to manifest these into your life?
- On a scale of 1-5 note how measurable, achievable, realistic are they?

I love that you’re sharing this today. I’m suddenly feeling an urgency to decide what to do since I’m “suddenly” 63-1/2 years old and feel as if time has slipped away and is a blur of work and constant financial juggling. Have you ever thought about just buying land, putting a shed or two on it for your work spaces, and a big carport to park Red Pepper under, big enough to be like a big covered porch? Then you can have land to garden, spaces to work, a home base, and still be able to travel at will?
Wow, was this encouragement right on time for confirmation of what I have been praying about and my life change decisions I am about to go through. Life is continually changing. Just getting older changes our perspectives on life and the things in which we desire. We accomplish one thing and move on to the next. When y'all stop worrying about how youtube wants you to do things and just be yourselves and do what you love, then, You will find your joy again and happiness will follow. You both seem the happiest when in God's nature and your hands in the dirt connecting with the land and amongst good friends. And that is being rich in my eyes. money cannot buy it.

defines your reality of your inner-self
and how we see ourselves
Is then how the world sees us.

Yay! You heading back in the right direction. I just feel it right for you three. You needed to leave North Carolina to discover that that was really where you needed to be..a home base is good for the soul.. I found that when I was traveling around in my bus. Two three months at a time. But was always good to get back home..till I started enjoying home more then traveling.. Zay will be happier and having a pet is also a life changer for the better.. get back to being you and all you love doing.. I found your channel way back when because I also went by moonflower.. I had a shop called moonflower. And strangely enough there was a shop next door called Meraki 😄🥰

At least for me, I didn't start watching your channel because of the travelling/nomadic life you had/have. I actually found your "Our dreads" video first and I fell in love with you guys!! I still watch this channel because whether you are in red peppa, travelling, seeing amazing things, or breaking down and talking real life struggles, I know Justin and Juby are always sincere and transparent. Ive loved the way you guys have such a lust for life, creativity, and community, I think that is what the Justin and Juby fans can expect from this channel when we watch your videos. Inspiration but also community, your heart felt talks always resonate deep within my soul and THAT is why I love watching you guys. Id almost say I like these videos more, people dont really talk about deep things anymore, because opening yourself up is hard- especially to the internet!
Anyway, All Im saying I think the J&J fans love J&J......Not just the cool travel vlogs!!! Whatever content you choose to share, we are thankful to be included in your journey.

This is one of the best videos you have created. I could relate to everything you said, and yes children crave stability and routine. I'm also glad you discovered what will make you and your family happy, and where you feel your "home base" should be. A home base will provide not only stability for Azalea, but also for all of your family as individuals. Doesn't mean you can't travel when the "winds of change" hit you. I will enjoy watching your next adventure when the time comes. 😊

I loved this session. I am 71 and still learning and striving to make my life as meaningful as I feel it is meant to be. My affirmation today, is 'I am one with Everyone on the Planet'. I am currently reading "The Power of Now", again....and this time, I get it. The popular sentiment, 'When the student is ready....' seems to be true for me. I Enjoy watching your Family dynamics, but, today you were 'singing' to me! ✌🏻&.❤️
We are older homesteaders/gamers with no kids. I can't tell ya how much switch around that we have done over the years as soon as we got a home. Now, as we get in our senior years (I'll be 50 this year), we got our goats (new come coming in late spring), stocking up our deep freezers and adding pets. Our biggest project we want is a spa space. Soaking up water outside under the stars but blocked from our livestock seeing us constantly. Oh can't wait! Set you path for now and future. Our land connection is soooo important.

I feel soo stuck in life. I just turned 30 and it’s scary to feel this way. Thank you for always sharing such positive vibes and outlooks on life. I just deleted all my social media so I could live in the moment and not be distracted by this phone that was constantly blocking my vision.
I am not yall of course and I could be totally wrong, but I get the feeling that y’all really enjoy and thrive in North Carolina.

all your goals for your 35th resonate so deeply with me, and I have none of them yet. Turning 32 in March, and I'm as far away from m family physically as I've ever been, away from most all of my friends safe for one very dear one. Everything tells me to basically get 'back home' and find my own private home there to fill with plants and gatherings... except for the fear of losing that one dear friend in this place.
Oh Juby it's so good to put out your hopes, your dreams , your fears. I have just finished building an off grid home in Ontario ( I'm from North West Uk)in a beautiful part of nature and then my beautiful daughter has an amazing grandson and as much as I adore my abode, my nature and I'm so full of life ( I had a little health scare crop up out the blue sorted )but also made me re-evaluate...now my own personal self feels like it's been turned on its head! No-one is putting any pressure on me , I have a husband who will live wherever, kids that accept my self made challenges( building off grid) but I have never felt so lost on where to settle and it is exhausting, when all I want to be is happy and feel very much all of the feelings that are unsettled...settled ...I so get and appreciate where you are speaking from Juby. Maybe nobody might read this but something has helped in writing it down while shedding some tears. Thanks lovely Juby , always be true to yourself and what's right for your beautiful little girl and you and Jystin will find that right balance tigether ❤

Yay, NC!! Of course I'm biased because I live here...but, I've also traveled a lot and always come back to NC! With the seasons, the soil, the people, the mountains...the sea...and everything in between...NC is fantastic and always home and cozy! I hope you guys do come home to North Carolina...we miss you!

Hey Juby, absolutely loved this video. I’ve been following you guys for soooo long and this is the first time I’ve left a comment. I just wanted to reassure you that Azaleas behaviours and expressions are totally normal for a child of her age. Different emotions like fear and uncertainty (although she won’t know that’s what it is) are just manifestations of a new kind of awareness. My girls are teens and now but I remember when their little worlds started to become bigger and how they navigated through the changes. You are doing a fabulous job raising that little gift. My advice is to let her see and be part of the changes that you feel as well, always keep the lines of communication open which I know you will 🥰

I'm new to the channel... discovered u guys just over a month ago and have binged everything since since Azalea was born! I have a 4 month old so, I enjoy taking a little break from the day with one of ur videos when I sit to feed my little guy. I've loved watching Azalea grow. I have a 2.5 yr old at home so, I've related to alot of the terrible 2 talk😉.

I will also be 35 in three years and also want a lot of similar things. I feel like life is still just getting started. I went back to finish University so I can begin teaching and to buy a home that belongs to our family. I dream of it but I also can't ignore just how the universe has aligned for my family the past two or so years. I feel like I'm actually where I'm supposed to be for the first time in honestly my whole life. At the same time, I feel like I've lost myself personally and I need to work on finding who I am deep down. Thank you so much for this video, it has inspired me.

Find the place where you can feel the various alternative life paths you've taken converging, because that's where you will feel the most whole. You might intuitively already know where that is, even if the you in this universe hasn't been there yet.

I'm in London but I'd of loved to have been a part of that. Im 36 and don't really have friends really Ive been wanting to meet like minded people for a while. You'll never know or understand just how much I appreciate you & this video. It's in our nature to want & need stability....a place to call home. It brings us the comfort & security we as humans need. I believe that's what Azalea calls home....Red Pepper. It has been her stability, where she made memories, where she reached milestones, where she felt secure & comfort. You are so very right about having a home base. We all need it. Sure you can still travel & enjoy the world but you also need that home base. We can't be in the moment if we feel "something else" tugging at us. Once you succumb to that tugging & find that place that brings you the security & comfort where you hang your memories, where you nourish your soul & baby then we can be in the moment wherever we are because we know we can always return to HOME. Hey Juby! You got this mama. You are capable of forging whatever path you want as an individual and for your household. If you do put some roots down in the US you should look into USDA home loans! The Gov will cover the down payment on a rural home so long as its outside city limits and you meet credit eligibility. All the best to you 💫

What you are saying I hear from so many others at this point in time. You will find like minded people wherever you go. North Carolina may not be as sexy as Mexico or Costa Rica, but it may just be home. You are most definitely not alone in all of this. Think less, feel more. When you arrive, you will know it.

This was really inspiring to watch. Ive been following you guys off and on for awhile. And its been awhile but my partner was talking about how we should move to mexico for a couple months out of the year and I was feeling a bit concerned with the safety but we came across your mexico videos and they really gave me hope and reinspired me. I really love all you videos and your path. I feel i can relate. We have been experimenting with van/camper life for 2 years now and living in an 80s camper van now. I feel the struggle of wanting to have space for plants and being able to garden. As well as space to create and do art which isnt super ideal in a small space. Ive recently been motivated to start a RUclips channel as hope to have a new creative hobby. We crave to have property and community as well but where we live as well everything is so expensive. We are just starting our van life journey but hope for a beautiful home base in the future too 💖 thanks for being so honest and open. Rooting for you guys!

As an older mother/grandmother, the best advice is to Fill Your Pitcher! When you are constantly pouring out , you need to tip up your pitcher🙏
As we mature we go through many different levels /stages to get us to where we need to be. It can be hard and frightening but happy and fun. Embrace the levels and stages of a journey which will prepare you for the next place you need to be. Stay happy , grounded and safe.

This video really introduced you. And Im so glad to meet you! I LOVE the idea of you creating genuine positive content for this channel. So often content creators can get unintentionally consumed by the need to produce the wow factor for us your following. Sometimes all it takes is kicking off all the layers and really see what matters to you and sharing that. That genuine exposure is truly the most long lasting wow factor in a real way. At least that’s how I feel! I love your goals. I live in the Pacific Northwest, CA. There still are places you can live in CA, they are in the far north. Humboldt and Del Norte counties still have gorgeous remote properties.

Mexico didn't seem right for your family and so you are refocusing where to go and trying to create new possibilities when you are uncertain is really not easy. I was wondering if you ever have had astrology readings? I ask because recently I had a reading and now see how some of the cycles we are in are so impacted by astrology.

So understandable that you want a home base and a home of your own. Especially with a kiddo involved! I think we as women just need that security. I love traveling too but it can be exhausting. I have been randomly seeing a lot of pictures of Switzerland this past week and now I see your comment. I am starting to feel like Switzerland would be a dream trip someday.
