I love Orlando Florida so much, I want to live there! I'm so thankful I watched this video because I've learned the Pros and Cons about living in Orlando Florida. One thing I want to be aware of is the hurricane, Insurance for the rent, and putting gas for my car before I deal with traffic. I miss Disney World Animal Kingdom so much! I haven't been there since 2011 and I would like to work for them as a Zookeeper to make a lot of money or become a millionaire because it is beautiful there. I could also enjoy and spend time at the Swimming pool, Roller Coasters and watching the parade at Magic Kingdom. I additionally want to move to Orlando or Kissimmee Florida because I've been dreaming about this since I was a kid and I'm looking forward to it for the future!
#1 reason for me living in Florida is the weather! Always surprises me when people rarely mentions that as the top reason. I hate cold and snow. While the rest of the world is cold and frigid I am enjoying spring-like temperatures
I live in Chicago bro and have been my whole life. Visited Florida and fell in love. Asking God to allow my move down there one day! Love the video man thank u
I visited last year and went to the weikiwa springs 30 min from Orlando and fell in love it was raining and felt like jungle cruise in a canoe. There’s a lot to do out there and is perfectly located . We went to fort desoto beach and was beautiful. You for got nice beaches and publix being a cali boy I fell in love with pub subs
Nice beaches for sure and I definitely forgot about Publix lol 😂 my first job was Publix (fun fact). Thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed Florida like I do.
"I know you didn't think the red light was going to be this long" 🤣 lol Yes, I hate those tolls!!!! Traffic isn't good but a heck of a lot better than L.A.
I remember when I saw ur car sid and u was skipping everybody LOL😭 switching lanes nonstop ur car had a sticker in the back with the RUclips logo that said yaboysidd and I checked it out now I’m a fan
I just came from Orlando today lol I was there since Friday. We went to one of the theme park for my daughter's birthday. I'm from Miami and live in Miami and you are right about the traffic omgeeeee. The traffic was terrible early in the morning just trying to get to the theme park. But I am considering moving there this is why I'm on your page.
Yes but it don’t rain all day every day mostly a few hours. I know because I’m a native who lives now in NYC. Being a native of Orlando Florida my number one thing I do not like is the heat there in the summer time that makes my skin super oily…not at all.
In a time when the economy across the board in the whole US was at it's best early 90's. When most infrastructure was brand new and clean. Especially Fl, Orlando always sucked. I was living in South Fla at time near Stuart. And we got some some great radio stations from Orlando that I liked. WOMX Mix 105, 98.9 WMMO, WWLV Love 94.5 Daytona, Magic 107.7, Sunny 101.1 WSTF from Cocoa Bch/ Space Coast, All 5 because of the Cent Fla radio towers all being 100kw at at least 1600 ft boomed into Stu. And because its flat as a pancake except NW going toward Ocala. In Orl proper you got 4 more stations. You get Tampa at time W-101 WUSA, Mix 95.7 , NW you get 98.5KTK, and used to be Ocala's 93.7 WMMZ Z-93. Before they blew it up and changed to country in 1994. How do I know? I was supposed to be their evening jock. Until they fired everyone incl my future boss. All 9 of these stations were Adult Contemp and Hot Ac stations. Which was rare to have so many in any radio US market. Only SF, Pitt because they are both on hills, and Chicago had so many. So spent a week up there about 100 miles nw of me by Stuart. Check out the area see if I wanted to try it out. It was a huge disappointment. Outside the Orange Blossom Trail, which kind of reminded me of Dade- NW 2nd Av between Palmetto and Broward line back then. 167th St and 215. Poverty, and blight in Orlando never were camouflaged. It was the 1st Fl city that scared the hell out of me. Even Overtown Miami's worst hood was not as scary looking. Liberty City was only area that reminded me of Orlando. I don't know if Disney and industry that moved in since 90's has helped. Or made it worse. But you couldn't pay $1 mil to ever live in O. I could always say same about St Pete, Ft Myers, Sarasota, Ocala, Gainesville, Daytona, Titusville, Tally, and most of Jax as well. Though when in radio I survived 6 mos living off Dunn @95, not far from Jax Intl. Back then Tampa was not good, I heard its improved. West Palm was mostly hood, so was/is Ft L, Miami anything outside downtown was crap. Especially whole NW anything. But even NE was very seedy esp by Biscay, US 1 all the way up to NMB.
Hey I’ve been in Miami for 4.5 years now and I’m considering moving to Orlando. I would say this, only move to Miami if you have a lot of money/income. My husband and I make a combined $150k/year, no kids, and we’re essentially broke. ANY activity, going out, dinner etc. will be at least $150/person. 1 bedroom rent $2000-3000 etc… Very different in Orlando
Love your videos! I’m in Tampa. Originally from Ohio! I would say 1) High cost of living 2) Low wages 3) Traffic/aggressive drivers 4) Hurricanes 🌪🌪 5) Wish I could speak Spanish( I don’t hate this) I L😍VE Florida tho! Happy I made the move💕
I'm in Ohio too! And I honestly can't wait to move down to Florida... I'm thinking about Orlando because I found a crazy cheap apartment but also considering Titusville or Melbourne, I really wanna be by a beach!
I live in West Palm Beach FL and I hate the snowbirds, the crazy drivers, and most of all HOW EXPENSIVE IT IS! I'm looking to move out of Palm Beach County but I'm finding that even though most of the other popular places in Florida arent as expensive as Palm Beach County (except for Fort Lauderdale and Miami), those other places are still pretty expensive. I would consider moving out of Florida, but having to deal with real winters stops me 😂 California seems nice but they have too many issues over there.....I'm at a total loss. I'm looking into either Tampa or Orlando to see if either one might be worth the struggles 😅
I moved from Orlando Florida when I was 10 yrs old to Connecticut. I'm planning to move back, currently looking work and apartment down there. Thanks for the information
1 thing I'd critique. Def not 3hrs from Miami even for a speeder. It's around 3.5 -4hr legit + tolls. Maybe 3hrs to Lauderdale, not Miami. I lived in O town for a year. Here's my 5 and 5. Good 1.) Central location between Tampa, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, Cape Canaveral/Coco Beach. Has 2 airports and its cheap to fly out to the Caribbean and Latin America. Its also only a 6hr drive to Atlanta or Panama City Beach. 1-1.5hr from Tampa. 50 min from Daytona Beach or coco Beach. 3hr 45min from Talahassee or Miami. 2hr from Jacksonville. 3hr from Ft Lauderdale. It's central locale makes it less hurricane prone. 2.) Activities: Disney area with all of the theme parks, restaurants, etc. Orlando Magic basketball. Every Friday and Saturday downtown becomes a block party and it's actually way more popping than people think. If Orlando isn't going a particular weekend, you can pop into Tampa and hit the Clearwater Pier, hit Ybor City, or do some boat life type of vibe. You can easily hit Daytona Beach also. Easy day trips. Miami too of course, but I wouldn't call that a day trip, more like a Weekend trip. UCF football since there's no NFL team (even though Buccs are only an hour away). EDC Orlando, Forbidden Kingdom, Vibra Urbana music festivals. A lot of clubs, sneaker conventions and things to do for any vibe. 3. A diverse city and culture. Has a little bit of everybody there. A lot of Puerto Ricans, caribbeans, white american folks, Haitians, etc so there's a lot of diff food options as well. The food truck park is pretty cool. Didn't really see too many asians though. The culture was and prob still is since I've left, creating its own identity so its not hard to come in and add your sauce to it. 4. Weather as far as temperature. I like the heat, it's def hot there. Gets a little chilly in the winter but not insane. 5. No state Taxes in Florida. Couldn't really choose between taxes and houses so I'll combine them. No state tax is great, and a lot of the houses are cool and come w ingeound pools (no basement though). And the cost of living isn't that crazy considering everything around you if you buy slightly outside the city (i.e. Kissimmee) 5 bad 1.) Daily summer showers/humidity. It rained almost every day in the summer when I was there. It dried up same day but those showers, I haven't gotten used to it and it makes for Supreme humidity. The very real possibility of hurricanes doesn't help either. 2.) Tolls. Driving in itself wasn't that bad for me. Maybe it's because I'm from Atlanta, lived in Los Angeles, and lived in Las Vegas and my brother lives in Miami. Compared to those places, Orlando honestly isn't that bad as far as traffic or drivers. Tolls tho, every freaking exit in Orlando you're paying tolls. It almost makes you want the state taxes instead. 3.) Def some very ratchet areas in Orlando for example obt (Orange Blossom Trail). Open prostitution, etc. You gotta know what areas you're in for sure. 4.) No NFL or MLB teams. Coming from a capital city/dense city Orlando does feel like it's missing some of those things that give it an identity. It almost feels like you need to look at central Florida as a whole to get a full on experience (which is fine if you think of the region and not solely the city). 5. The people are very clicked up in my opinion. It's def a transfer city, a lot of people from other cities, particularly up north (NYC, Jersey, etc) have moved there + people from Miami who want a more family friendly city and people from Cali who want a more affordable place that still has beach access are there. It's good that the city is forging it's identity, but bad at the same time because there isn't a sense of singularity in my opinion it's a very clicked up city. It was also rated top 5 cities for infedility in the country but I don't know if I agree w that. From a dating aspect Orlando seemed pretty decent, esp considering America has become a complete hookup culture. I felt like it had way better combination of cool, attractive, down to earth and supportive chicks than any American city I've lived in. But maybe I was just the new guy and it went over my head, and then again I've lived in atlanta, Vegas, LA so the bar in that may not be too high lol.
Everything has trade offs. Orlando tends to have the worst drivers as its the tourist mentality whether you are on vacation or not. Tourists think they can do what ever they want because it won't follow them back from vacation while locals are nasty to tourists because tourists won't be there for long. The weather varies wildly based on where you are in florida. Some places can see a ton of rain while others get none. Its luck of the draw. Finding a decent place to live depends on how close you want to be to the finer things. The closer you are to the theme parks the more expensive it gets. The further away you are the more prices plummet until its great but then if you want any of the finer things in life then you gotta drive further. That is also why you got bad traffic. Major areas bring in tons of people and that means bad traffic. If you live in areas with less of that then you will get to your destinations quicker. The alternative is to vary your scheduled driving times based on traffic quality as well as having 4 routes you can take to get to some where. Each route using anything from toll roads to country roads. The more of these routes you have to rely on the more you can build alternate ways should things be too busy. I4 traffic is bad? Take the toll. Toll is busted? Take the long roads that take a straight path. Long roads are crowded? Take the country roads that go around all that jazz and take you to your destination. There is always a way but you gotta have plenty of routes. I have lived in every major part of florida. Orlando, Daytona, Sarasota, Palm beach, Mount Dora, Fort Lauderdale, Marathon key, and Saint petersburg. Each has its pluses and minuses. Nothing beats the party life of Daytona but when hurricanes hit then its catastrophic. Sarasota is peaceful but some people be crazy there. Palm beach is vast but some of it is gold and some is ghetto with some days being hard to tell which is which. Mount Dora is beautiful but feels like you are in another state. Fort Lauderdale has it all but it gets so crazy that you think you are in orlando but without the ways to chill out except for the beach. Marathon key is legendary paradise. Aquatic activities are so great that you never get bored but live there too long and you wish for more civilization. Then the tourists invade and everything goes crazy. Saint Pete is my current abode and its great place though it does make me wish for all the other benefits I enjoyed in Daytona, orlando, marathon, and even a little mount dora. If you are thinking of the pan handle be wary as it gets a lot colder than southern florida.
I hate the homeless here and mental illness drugs! Been here 7 months, I’m from Philadelphia and I’m scared to drive in Orlando! You so right about the hidden fees of apartments! I live downtown Orlando!
Philadelphia homeless problem is much terrible than Orlando. I know you familiar with Kensington neighborhood in Philadelphia. Zombies everywhere in that area. Orlando homeless can't compare
Damn! Personally I've been to Orlando and its !DAYMN! !HOT! Like whoa! And !YO! people be Sunday Driving every fvcking day! Only Taxi/Uber only know what there doin. 1.5% of 10% of the time u there! But its still amazing 👏
Night life is awesome man. From bars and many restaurants to lots of events. The hurricane wasn’t bad for us in Orlando. We got some flooding but that’s about it.
Jesus I’m on your number 1. And comparing that to up here in Ohio, 3 hours and I’m out the state 😂😂😂. Keep grinding bro. And next time I land in Florida, you gotta show me the Everglades
Ohio is amazing during the 2 months of summer, but gotdayum I can't wait to get out. Snow for over half the year is killing me! Moved to columbus from Atlanta, 4 years ago, for what was supposed to be a couple of months internship, but screwed around and got cuffed...
It’s actually not bad. I would say it’s a big Latino/Hispanic culture here. Lots of Spanish speaking. But you’re from NY so you should be used to that.
Bruh I wanna move to Orlando so bad but it’s never gonna happen mainly because my parents just got a restaurant where I’m at I’ve been there plenty of times tho for vacation 😭💔

Yeah just don't bring your racist latin cast system ways like the Dominicans. Because us Haitians ain't going for it.

Def not 3hrs from Miami even for a speeder. It's around 3.5 -4hr legit + tolls. Maybe 3hrs to Lauderdale, not Miami.
I lived in O town for a year. Here's my 5 and 5.
Good
1.) Central location between Tampa, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, Cape Canaveral/Coco Beach.
You’ve been here just as long as I have! I hope you’re at least having some type of fun. Thanks for watching tho
Philadelphia homeless problem is much terrible than Orlando. I know you familiar with Kensington neighborhood in Philadelphia. Zombies everywhere in that area. Orlando homeless can't compare
Come to Texas you get the same thing but it is spaced out.
So you must have never visited Kensington Philadelphia🤔
@@chocolatequeen2019 right lol Philly is the worst place on earth I’m from jersey I know
do you live in a house or apartment? what floor? how much flooding did you get
Damn!
Personally I've been to Orlando and its !DAYMN! !HOT! Like whoa! And !YO! people be Sunday Driving every fvcking day! Only Taxi/Uber only know what there doin. 1.5% of 10% of the time u there!
But its still amazing 👏
Everything you said was nothing but facts! 😂
Clermont in really nice place to live
Oh my boi I just moved to Orlando Florida what you like to do for your self
I live in West Palm Beach I'm a Floridian what I hate about Florida are all the people that have moved here to Florida.
I hear that a lot lol but at this point, majority of people don’t live where they’re from.
Coming from Miami I hate the Traffic
It’s the worst 🤦🏾♂️
Overall I feel like I made the best decision moving here #orlando
thought the traffic was worst there
Does anybody know if Orlando is more expensive than Phoenix AZ?
Google says the cost of living in Orlando is 3.3% lower than is in Phoenix. So, not a crazy difference but a difference at least.
Can you find alot of jobs in Florida? I want to work like 60 hours a week and make more than minimum wage.
Can you make a video about what are the safe black communities in Orlando please
I sure can!
Want some more videos
Tampa or Orlando? Which one would you all choose?
Since I’m in Orlando … I’ll say Tampa.
@@YaBoySidd are you planning on moving anytime soon
Out of Orlando? Most likely no. At least not out the proximity of Orlando. If I do move out of Orlando then I’ll just move out of Florida in general.
Orlando is better. Imo Tampa is slower paced aka boring.
How’s the night life? How about whme hurricanes hit?
Night life is awesome man. From bars and many restaurants to lots of events.
The hurricane wasn’t bad for us in Orlando. We got some flooding but that’s about it.
New to the channel
Welcome 🙏🏾 thank you for tuning in!
I’m out here 🎉 , I work from home
What are your thoughts on Orlando?
Jesus I’m on your number 1. And comparing that to up here in Ohio, 3 hours and I’m out the state 😂😂😂. Keep grinding bro.
And next time I land in Florida, you gotta show me the Everglades
Oh definitely bro! I’ll be going out that way soon so I’ll for sure let you know how it goes.
Ohio is amazing during the 2 months of summer, but gotdayum I can't wait to get out. Snow for over half the year is killing me! Moved to columbus from Atlanta, 4 years ago, for what was supposed to be a couple of months internship, but screwed around and got cuffed...
must be pll that arent from orlando i lived there back in 03/04 it was cool calm wait on you drivers wont honk honkers were shamed 😂
People here need to start honking lol drivers here get away with too much.
I live in NYC and want to move to Orlando but not sure what areas to move in. How is it for people of color.
It’s actually not bad. I would say it’s a big Latino/Hispanic culture here. Lots of Spanish speaking. But you’re from NY so you should be used to that.
come to kissimmee fl or davenport
How safe is it?
From my experience, it has been safe. Not too much to worry about.
Do you live iin downtown Orlando? I live in New York but I am thinking of moving to downtown Orlando
A little outside downtown & i love New York. Definitely a good move financially for sure.
Number fifth 😂
Bruh I wanna move to Orlando so bad but it’s never gonna happen mainly because my parents just got a restaurant where I’m at I’ve been there plenty of times tho for vacation 😭💔
It’s a vibe for sure lol but congrats on the family business!
@@YaBoySidd thanks man peace and blessings 🙏🏽❤️
The only thing I hate about living in Florida is the Politicians - especially the Governor
Desantis is a legend wym 😂
I absolutely love the Politics!DeSantis or Trump 2024!!
I agree with you DeSantis and Trump SUCK. I'm from West Palm Beach and it was such a pain in the ass when Trump would come back home.
What's the escort scene like in Orlando?
Low wages hard to get real job
I agree bro
@@YaBoySidd other than that I love it but damn
30% of jobs are fully remote, local job market doesn’t matter anymore
Why don't you create your own city....since you don't like it here
You know what…. I might just do that 🤔 lol thanks for the idea Mr J Tech! 😊 & thanks for watching!
Lol...let me know when it's done...I'll check it out
Number fifth. I can’t I hear it.
I just can not decide between Tampa or Orlando 🤦🏾♀️
Ive never lived in Tampa but from my visits, Tampa I’d the better option. All depends on what you’re looking for tho. Orlando is ok.
Lets be honest, a drive to Tampa is about 1 - 6 hours 😂
