Since you’re into comics, especially about punk main characters, I definitely recommend the new Black Canary solo comics. They’re in my top three favorites, and I never shut up about how much I love DD and the rest of the band. Last time I checked, only the first two volumes are out, but I’ve reread them both at least 5 times. They’re just so rad.

I was always too scared of the punk community because I thought they were super gate keeping and too aggressive but you are showing more sides to it...

love the spiderpunk cosplay! this year for armageddon expo i was wearing a custom painted mandalorian helmet but didn't have a costume to wear it with, i ended up making a bunch of star wars themed patches for an in-universe punk jacket. my personal favourite was "imp punks fuck off" in aurebesh.

Today I just sewed my first two patches they are just bandannas but when I showed my parents my stepdad gave me several chains to put on my work. You have given me so many ideas thank you so much
What's funny is I was thinking about making a spider-punk cosplay too because we have comic/anime conventions were I live and I had wanted to make mine also kinda different too

i make my own with safety pins, beer bottle caps and soda tabs clip the pop tab in the safety pin and glue it to the inside of the beer cap and just sand the top, and u can paint or print pics on the top! i hope this helps, i havent been able to find some good cheap ones so yhis is how i do it!

A tip for using the paint and your sponge is to put paper or cardboard in between the fabric you're using thin fabric or afraid of the paint bleeding!

A tip for holes in fabric is brake fluid, drip a vary small amount and wash, it looks cool but it will progressively destroy the fabric...

i usually get cheap pins with random stuff or old ones that i dont like anymore and just paint over them

Old jeans are best. T-shirt fabric doesnt work well for me I wouldn't recommend it.
