- Hello crochet friends, I'm majovel! Happy day to all This week I bring you this beautiful design of a baby romper, I had not brought this work for a long time and many of you have asked me a lot. And here I bring it! But this baby romper has something special, I designed it for summer and winter. In the videotutorial I explain in detail how to make the sleeves of the baby romper transform it into a winter job. Two pieces in one. With the stitch of Elena from ellej.org @crochetbyellej and the baby comfort thread from @iceyarns and I always try to give all the possible options when doing work for our loved ones. Thank you for the video. I seem to end up with too many stitches in my last row of the yoke. This is a great video though. An actual stitch count for each row would be great.
Betty Boop - I agree, a stitch count would be very helpful.
Im having that same problem and have no idea how to fix it.
I’m having the same issue pulled apart three times and still the same end up with 161 stitches
I have given up on this pattern. I eventually managed the yoke after trying it 3 times and with adjustments. I then ended up with 30 fans instead of 28. I wasted 2 days on this.
Same! I just came across this pattern today which I thought would match the set I’m doing for a friend. Think one of the rows what she shows in video is not what the pattern suggests. Row 4 I believe. A stitch count at the end of each row would be good as well as what your pattern should look like after each row.

Then how many v stitches agian before you join for the next sleeve then how many v till the end please. Im a beginer and would like to do this

Jill Carter , I am having trouble following from round 16 (the start of legs). I do not know how to read grafts. Can you give me written instructions starting with round 17?

Jill Carter - thank you so much for responding. I am still stuck because I don't think my romper is lining up right to place my markers. For me, it would be helpful to know how many fans at end of round 16 as I think somewhere along the line I missed joining wrong.

Jill Carter - thank you again Jill. Yes, I know each leg is 14 fans. Where my problem lies is when I finish last round before starting on legs (round 16), my last stitch is not in middle of row, it is roughly 4" from the middle and in the video, it looks like ending round 16 is in middle of garment so my legs do would not end up where they are supposed to be. Do you think I can just fasten off and attach yarn for first leg counting 14 stitches from the middle?

This looks a lovely pattern, however, like many others have commented the stitch count just doesn’t add up. Has anyone worked the pattern up to have the correct stitch count???? Any help would be appreciated. I have tried to crochet the yoke at least 6 times (if not more) and ended up undoing it again and again as I just can’t get the stated 154 stitches. Thought I could see where I thought the pattern was wrong - picture showing 5 double crochet stitches on row 4 where the video and voice are telling us to do 3 double crochet stitches between the 2 double crochet in the same space. (Web page also show’s 5!) But no, this also left me with 158 stitches 😤 As others have asked, could you please add the total stitches at the end of each row? It would also be very helpful to show in the video the last stitches of each row being completed and also to clarify if the diagram or the video is correct when it comes to row 4. Disappointed as I have bought yarn to make 3 of these these, and would still love to do so 🙂

I ended up with too many sts. but it did not really matter so long as you had a multiple of 6 on each section. Bit more room for the diaper

Thank you for your videos, Majovel, but I find that you jump ahead a little too fast as far as showing the work. I have to keep backing up and someone manage to get the stitch count wrong.

My total number of Crochet at round 8 are 165. These can't be 154 I am afraid. Please what can I do
Hi, Haziq Ajmal I asked the same question but so far no response. By the end of round 7, I had a total of 157 stitches and mind you this was my second attempt at it. I got to the end of round 8 and it was not 154 stitches so I undid the whole thing thinking I made a mistake somewhere. But to no avail, being an experienced crocheter and very careful I still came out with the same stitch count as before. I too felt confused and afraid but decided to continue with the pattern. It would have been helpful if she announced the stitch count at the end of every row. I'm not sure if it matters noting at 12:05 in the video she does mention " If we have to make it bigger, you have to increase following the sequence that corresponds." With that said, I'm hoping it turns out right for both of us and I also want to thank you for your post for it made me less afraid knowing someone else was struggling with the same discrepancy as I was and I was not alone in this. If you do get a response to your question could you give me a heads up? I will do the same. Thanks again for your time Maile.......

As i couldn't get answer but I continued with my 165 stitches and when I reach towards end I was able to manage even number of fans so I divided both legs into 16 fans each. Like in this video there are 14 fans in each leg. So you can follow the same instructions and hopefully you can be able to complete the project. By the way I have started my own channel where I will explain in more details.
Maryann Diaz hi! I am also trying to make this. My stitch numbers are also different. Now that I have a more stitches, it will be bigger. Did you adjust the number of rows? I can’t quite figure out what size it will be now and don’t know how long to make it before I start the legs 🤷🏻♀️. Thanks for any help or insight :)
