Great idea using both the drone and seperate camera to get 2 different perspectives of the eclipse Ryan

We didn't get as much dark nest in North St. Louis, County as you did but what a great idea Ryan.

Yep the zone of totality ended just a few miles NW of where I was in my hometown of Red Bud

This was awesome footage Ryan! Really nicely done. Funny, though, we had a completely clear sky and could view it perfectly at my workplace, but we didn’t seem to get as dark or even close to it being dark like you guy’s experienced. No street lights turned on or anything from it.
Or maybe it just looks darker on video than it really was. Wicked awesome piece of history you captured buddy! Well done!🙌😎🫥

This is my second full eclipse in 7 years!! This one lasted only one min but we were on the very edge of the totality. Were you within the totality because I know it got much darker south of me where they were surrounded by darkness. The totality ended a few miles west of where we were located today so those areas remained much brighter and that light was bleeding into the zone of totality.

@@RDsRCReviews yes we saw 100% totality, but it didn’t really get dark at that point. No night lights or street lights were triggered to come on. I know it’s a spectacular event , but I was a bit disappointed I didn’t see darkness.
Maine was supposed to be a premier location for the full effect. Back in 2017 I was on the beach for that one and it didn’t get very dark for that one either.maybe it just looks that way on camera or the darkness is enhanced? Still excellent video you got though. Was that done with the DJI?

@@BangForYourBuckRc you should have been pretty dark. It didn't get that dark in Red Bud. Not as dark as it was in 2017. I'm confused why it wasn't as dark for you. Hmmm. We have street lights come on in both 2017 and today. There was a lot of light on the distance that was outside the totality. Maybe you're in a larger city with more lights that are always on which created a lot of artificial lighting that kept the sky brighter?

@@RDsRCReviews no just a small ship building town with lights that only come on when it’s dark.

@@BangForYourBuckRc could the ocean possibly be reflecting light into the sky? I'm stumped lol
